Glasgow based artist Gregor Keachie is releasing his debut single in April 2020. The track is the first of several releases scheduled from his debut EP, ‘Burden’, which will be made available over the course of the next year.
Gregor is from Kilmarnock in Ayrshire and is a classically trained trumpet and piano player, having worked as a session musician across Scotland in a variety of projects. His exceptional musicianship and strength of character are held in high esteem by those who know him, have worked with him, and enjoy his own music and songs.
‘Burden’ is produced by Callum Wiseman of renowned Glasgow band, Prides, and the production style casts these four poignant songs against an electropop frame with sweeping synthetic atmospheres. Gregor’s catchy and distinctive keyboard parts anchor the sound, and his tender, soaring vocals are a real highlight. The lyrics are sincere, honest, and heartfelt, and each song reveals another chapter of Gregor’s unique story.
