This is a cover of Death Cab For Cutie's "I Will Follow You Into The Dark" from their 2005 album "Plans".

I go back to listening to this song every now and again, usually when I'm at my lowest but I also find myself listening to it when I'm at my highest. 
The sadder ideas of the song are obvious but on the other hand I also think that even though a life (or possibly two) is(/are) coming to an end and in turn a long-term and loving relationship too, the fact that the relationship even happened and was lengthy and loving is worth celebrating.

I'll tell ya what ain't worth celebrating, the time when this song lost out on a Grammy...

I Will Follow You Into The Dark (Cover)

I wrote this back in the summer of 2012, thirty minutes before having to perform something at a open mic event I was at.

Since then I've always had the song in the back of my mind but have never recorded it, built upon it musically or even rewrote it.

So this is as bare bones as this song is gonna be I think, and if it changes considerably in the future, I'll be sure to upload it here as well.

This song was written part of The Collective Sound, a world-wide summer music camp, which took place in Bournemouth, England, during August 2012.

As a band, we wrote two songs and recorded one.

Rosie (Remastered)

The first of two songs I (poorly) recorded and produced (poorly) as part of a college course I somehow passed. I'm not proud of the vocals but I didn't want anyone to hear me record myself singing in my room. You know how it is.

We wrote these two songs as the band 'Pinstripe Jumpsuit' and as teenagers didn't have much of a work ethic to perform them in more than 3 venues before calling it a day.

Shoutout to the boys: Aidan, Stewart (pictured, circa 2012) and Charlie who let me record him play drums round his house.
