I arrived at Golden Gate club early in the morning, and, honestly, I hadn't expected a big party to be in full swing on a Friday morning, only few days after NYE. To my surprise, the place was packed. The DJ before me was playing an amazing set, perfectly setting the vibe for the day. I took over and ended up playing for 6 hours and enjoyed it deeply, especially before my two months break from deejaying.

The set begins with an unusually looong intro.
That's because I couldn't dock to the sound of the DJ who played before me: EDM Hits & Abba remixes…?&§$@%?…i had no choice but to make a hard cut. 
As a „cleaner“ i started with a soooperlong loose space "Kommit“ improvisation w/o beats.

Unfortunately the recording comes extremely late because i moved my studio in 2023-2024.

Bereits vor über 20 Jahren veröffentlichte Cassy ihre erste Platte. Daraufhin folgte eine Karriere, die ihresgleichen sucht. Cassy hat in Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, London, New York und Los Angeles gelebt, im legendären Plattenladen Hard Wax gearbeitet und Residencies in berühmten Clubs wie Panorama Bar, Trouw, Output, DC-10 für Circo Loco, Rex Club, Amnesia für Cocoon und Pacha mit ihrer eigenen Nacht im Pachacha Room gehalten – und noch vieles mehr.

Anja Schneider ist ebenfalls eine wahre Ikone der Szene, die bereits seit den 90er-Jahren aktiv und erfolgreich ist. 2021 wurde sie von der Berlin Music Commission für ihren außergewöhnlichen Einfluss auf die Musikszene ausgezeichnet. Neben ihren energiegeladenen DJ-Sets ist Anja Schneider auch für ihre innovativen Produktionen und ihr Engagement in der Förderung neuer Talente bekannt. Zudem gründete und betrieb sie das weltweit bekannte Label Mobilee Records bis 2017, bevor sie im selben Jahr ihr neues Label Sous Music ins Leben rief.

Bis heute Pflegen die beiden DJs eine innige Freundschaft. Mit ihrer Eventreihe PuMp, die bereits unter anderem im Watergate stattfand, ist Anja Schneider inzwischen auch regelmäßig in der Rakete Nürnberg zu Gast. Beim letzten Dayrave entstand ein wundervolles, knapp siebenstündiges Back2Back-Set der beiden. Viel Spaß mit dieser Spezialausgabe des Jeden Tag ein Set-Podcasts!

More than 20 years ago, Cassy released her first record. What followed was a career unlike any other. She has lived in Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, London, New York, and Los Angeles, worked at the legendary record store Hard Wax, and held residencies at renowned clubs such as Panorama Bar, Trouw, Output, DC-10 for Circo Loco, Rex Club, Amnesia for Cocoon, and Pacha, where she hosted her own night in the Pachacha Room—and much more.

Anja Schneider is also a true icon of the scene, having been active and successful since the 1990s. In 2021, she was honored by the Berlin Music Commission for her exceptional influence on the music scene. In addition to her energetic DJ sets, Anja Schneider is known for her innovative productions and dedication to supporting emerging talent. She also founded and ran the globally renowned label Mobilee Records until 2017, before launching her new label Sous Music later that same year.

To this day, the two DJs share a close friendship. With her event series PuMp, which has already taken place at venues like Watergate, Anja Schneider is now also a regular guest at Rakete Nürnberg. FROGSPAWN w/ FROG & BODYSHIFT that will be hosted from the 26th to the 28th of July and strongly urge everyone to delve into celebrating queernes together with a fresh, innovative lineup that platforms for artists that identify themselves as a part of the LGBTIA+ community. (which makes me so so so proud!)

Gregor Tresher embarks on a mini-tour of the North American west coast in November fresh from a hectic summer touring schedule that took the Frankfurt based producer from renown festivals such as Tomorrowland, Mysteryland and Sonar to clubbing Mecca's from Watergate, Studio 80 to Space in Ibiza.  The momentum continues with Gregor's fall touring schedule that included a sold out Break New Soil label showcase at the Amsterdam Dance Event at the end of October and a flurry of other dates to end off yet another banner year.

The west coast tour starts on November 8th with a debut performance at Vessel's Thursday night Base party in San Francisco, and as per custom for Base events he'll be on the decks for the entire night.  The next date on the tour is an Incognito party in LA on the 9th where the anticipation for the event has been building for the past couple of weeks at it takes place at a special location.  On November 10th, Gregor will travel to Canada for a show at Vancouver afterhours club Gorg-O-Mish which will wrap up the mini west coast tour.
