Gregory G Ras (Komáromy Gergő) is an international frontline reggae-dub-afro-fusion singer, musician, singjay and deejay from outta Budapest, Hungary.
He's also a passionate activist and volunteer workin hard for social and environmental justice, freedom, love and unity.

His fresh stronger-than-ever full band is The Planeteerz, he also has an acoustic crew called Roots 4Ward and works with various other crews too.
 
Since his first steps as a singer in 2005 he's released 2 solo albums (Burn Fyah 2009 and Live & Love 2011), 1 EP and 4 LP's with his former band Riddim Colony (What A Day 2009; Message of I&I 2008, More Love To Share 2010, Rise & Shine 2013, Lion's Way 2015), many music videos and and whole heep a singles with different producers.

His  brand new full album, a concept project named 'Rebel for Life' is gonne be out on 22 April (Earth Day) 2020. An EP from it called 'Act Now' with 4 singles is coming in march 2020.

He's known as a singjay/MC full of positive energy, with a strong and unique voice, with smart and uplifting lyrics, with catching melodies and a lot of great tunes of different genres, with passionate style and an aim of spreadin di positive message of One Love, Unity and Righteousness, and with very powerful live performance skillz. 
He started listening to reggae music at the age of 15, but it just became the main part of his life in 2005 right after he joined and took part in the founding of Riddim Colony, Hungary’s first real Jamaican style reggae band, of which soon he became the lead singer. The band with its strong and live sound,  presentin top-class roots and bashment tunez and blazing stage-show with ever powerful conscious message from G became the nr.1 authentic style reggae-dancehall band inna Hungary. They shared the stage with some of the greatest names in reggae, like Max Romeo, Sizzla, Anthony B, Third World, Glen Washington, Perfect, Damian Marley, Micah Shemaiah etc.

G Ras as a solo artist and also with his current bands and RC and other bands and crews has played all over Europe (Italy, Germany, Austria, Holland, Spain, Romania, Bulgaria, France, Slovakia, Slovenia, UK, Poland, Czech, Cyprus, Luxemburg, Belgium...) at many venues and events, festivals, like Rototom, Uprising etc

In 2015 he reached Jamaica for the first time. That's when a new chapter started for him, his music transformed into even more conscious and Rasta and inspired by the direct experience of the real roots of the movement and culture he started to get involved seriously in social and environmental activism back in Europe too.  Since then he spent several months there annually 5 yrs in a row, performing, recording, shooting videos, making collaborations.

G  Ras' aim is to play tru conscious music and to spread di positive message all over, to take part as effectively and as actively as possible in the present day Revolution of Love and Consciousness.
