No Love

Microtonal- This is close to the final version that will be on the upcoming album. It is in 19 Tone Equal Temperament, which has Minor 3rds that are in better tune than 12 TET. The album project is going slowly, so I decided to post this song. Thanks! GS 

Hearts On Fire (2015)

Song is in  17 Tone Equal Temperament, this is the demo version. 17 TET natural minor is usually a bit sadder and more somber that 12 TET, it can also be a bit more sinister. The middle lead break uses Neutral Intervals, this can really mess with your ears because it is neither minor nor major.

19 EDO. Athough I have composed many songs in 19 EDO, this is my first recording that I have done in 19 EDO. I have been playing Microtonal guitar only for about 10 months.

One of the coolest attributes of 19 EDO is that is has sweet major & minor 3rds and their inversions major & minor 6ths, they are almost just. This song is my attempt to demonstrate 19 EDO's sweet major 3rds.
