It's been a bumpy ride.
it's been a wonderful ride.

I was born in 1969.
As a kid I used to come up with short poems which I would find funny enough to keep me and my imaginary friends, happy...
Shy enough, painting and writing used to be ways to express my feelings and thoughts.
As a teenager, I found it much easier to expand my English vocabulary by browsing my dictionary, picking unknown words and phrasal verbs and putting them down to songs.
Having had a huge collection of lyrics of that kind, dressing them up with music was only natural. It helped me memorize all those words.
That also was a trick I used when studying Ancient Greek (by making up a melody for each text).

Musical instruments were kinda expensive for my family's wallet... but a wooden ruler and a wooden cooking spoon, fork or spatula were always available and happy to serve as my... drumsticks.
My favourite drum kit made of... pillows was soon replaced by a set of cooking butter tin buckets of different sizes...
My first hi-hat... a serving disc covered with silver foil.
My first cymbal, a brass candle holder with an amazing "crystal" clear sound!

Having spent my first 40yrs in Europe, Greece, moving to Australia found me starting all over again, since it was impossible to move my home studio instruments & equipment as well.
So, I've started with a minimal setup including an iMac 27" running Logic Pro X, Reason, Reaktor, Kontakt, Guitar Rig as well as Final Cut Pro, controlled by Samson Graphite 49 & M-Audio Oxygen 25.
Part of my work was put together using Cubase and Adobe Premier as well, on my MS Windows Laptop.
Music editors run smoothly. No lags or crashes (thank you Apple) on my otherwise obsolete setup. 

The rest of the story... is merely Darwinian evolution.
Song after song, my head's hard drives and back up disks were full so, I had to move on and start recording my songs for real.
Being a drummer without proper music studies, I found it quite challenging to put the melodies and chords down. But I guess I've got an ear for that (well, two). 
2020 Covid lockdowns and the extra time available worked to my favour when, in partnership with UK distributors, we got to release some of my remixes and made it easier for me to share my work with a greater audience via Spotify, Apple Music & iTunes, Deezer, Pandora and many other major or less popular channels.
Six years later, still residing in Greece, being introduced to ccMixter Community as well as MixMasters Ibiza has broadened my horizons.
