Greg reached back in his archives to dust off this rocker originally recorded in 2010.  Back then he wrote more songs with lyrics and sang on more of them.  This song hearkens back to a carefree time of parties and dancing, so maybe it fits again now that we are venturing out after covid claustrophobia.  Enjoy!

TONIGHT (vocal)

This track sets a mood of tranquility and never lets it go.  Soft, and somewhat strange, piano sounds blend with distant synths and blooming bass.  Odd noises here and there.  Must pay attention.  Focus.

Midnight (instrumental)

This song builds slowly from sparse mysterious sounds, then launching into a galloping mix of bass drums and synthesizers.  It's a joy ride for sure.

TROUBLED TIMES (vocal)

What started out as a simple repeating chord pattern turned into a surprising collaboration between Greg, Peter Carey (guitar riffs and Rhodes piano), and his son Michael Carey (percussion).  Without a traditional structure this song cruises along in in groups of 12 bars instead of eight, taking us on a wave of satisfying simplicity and pleasure.  Welcome aboard.
