But every decade or so you hear someone, and you know there is something else, something very special going on. I feel Marino is that someone&#8221; - Keith Reilly High praise indeed from the owner of Fabric London and a bold statement for Spanish DJ/Producer Marino Canal to live to up to. The sound engineering graduate&#8217;s impressive wax spinning skills had been witnessed at the 2013 Ibiza Music Summit and it wasn&#8217;t long before the White Island resident was tearing up the cavernous London basement with a set brimming with his own productions. Organic textures, hypnotism and melancholy feature heavily in Marino&#8217;s sound and are once again evident in the Percolate EP. As its name suggests, the title track bubbles with dancefloor tension whilst its tight groove never quite reaches boiling point. Can&#8217;t Feel, on the flip, is more of the same. Deep, atmospheric and understated, a perfect example of Marino&#8217;s blossom talent.</p>

Following his well received remix of Ane Brun 'To Let Myself Go' on Objektivity just a few weeks ago, it is finally time for André Hommen's very own, first ever solo EP called "The Bottom Line". This groovy number consists of three tracks that are style-wise all very different, showing off Hommen's wide range as producer.

EP's title track 'The Bottom Line' was first featured in André's Boiler Room NY set (February, 2014), receiving great response and a massive "Track ID?" -explosion on social media. 'Epiphany' and 'Reach Out' on the B side do not disappoint either - as groovy as they are energetic, they would fit well in different stages of any set.

This time Alan Fitzpatrick, Rampa and Mike Starr are stepping up with their contributions. Techno long runner Alan Fitzpatrick injects a good dose of dark magic to Without Me. You can't resist the beats. Vocals and synths float through the rooms. Reverb-whipped sounds keep you moving on and on. In his version of This Is Your Beat Mike Starr sets on the profound interaction of voice, rhythm and fragments of a melody. Skillfully creating his very own funk. As you may have guessed by our extensive coverage of all things Jeudi, we're quite the fans of Doctor Dru's imprint here at Data Transmission, with the outlet quickly becoming one of favourite labels in recent times. For the Hamburg outpost's latest trick, they welcome back Monte, who – you might well recall – impressed upon on the label with a number of releases that arrived to to great fanfare last year and thanks to the glorious sounds of the 'Radical' EP, we’re delighted to announce that the man behind the music has lost none of his nous in the intervening time.

The action gets underway thanks to title track and our choice for premiere, ‘Radical’, a rollicking rollercoaster of a track aimed squarely at peak time dance floors which motors along to give clubbers something to really sink their teeth into. Slickly driven synth lines underpin a sparse yet menacing vocal line full of promise, with the track heaving along as it flexes its production prowess for a cut sure to be finding its way into the sets of house music's more discerning selectors upon release. Backed by a remix from Man Power and frenetic B-side 'Simpler', which jam packed with off kilter energy, is similarly sure to pick up plenty of attention during the small hours in the coming months and add a spine-tingling sense of drama to any set it pervades.
