"Today You, Tomorrow Me". It was inspired by a stranger going out of his way to help me carry a wine fridge down the street after seeing me struggle... He said "today you, tomorrow me". Once I got home, I wrote this tune.

Release Notes:
The aural landscape provided by "Today You, Tomorrow Me" is replete with atmospheric context. Emotive images of hope and optimism wend their way through the opener as if travelling down a coruscating mountain road, confronted by a dramatic landscape as the world around converges in a moment of epiphany. Awe-inspiring natural forces then provide a backdrop of mental imagery as rolling waves and white horses translate to musicals equivalents throughout the "7am Mix".

Sieg's mastery provokes contemplation as the jagged beats of "On Your Own" jut out of the aural landscape akin to rocks rising up through an ominous and brooding seascape. Juxtaposed against this are soft and mellifluous melodic patterns that rise and fall in flowing beauty around their beat driven counterparts with effortless ease; waves coalesce and dissipate around the rock edges occasionally crashing into their surface with dramatic impact.

Outwardly innocuous in its opening movement, the "Unique Repeat" remix stands apart. Images of significant portent are summoned as a dramatic bass line matches a foreboding skyline before a crystalline lead line lacerates the audioscape, piercing a barren landscape with driving rain while simultaneously providing a sense of cleansing hope and vibrancy.

Summer warmth ebbs gently away replaced by autumnal overtures. A year has passed in the twinkling of sun sparkled eye and another collection of tracks converge, lighting a path to "Where Horizon Sparks" into glowing tribute. Twenty offerings of beauty and grace nourish the airwaves with warmth and iridescent glow. 

Voices echo from a distant past, catching on wavering breeze. Haunting vocals combine with emotive piano and whispering strings; a tear: perhaps shed in memory of what has once gone before, evaporating in cool night air; a smile follows and the promise of brighter future beckons. Beaches filled with half-formed sculptures tell tales of childhood fascinations of castles and fairy tales, belying their former purpose in gateway to conquering worlds and voyages of discovery. 
Melody and rhythm dance and play; sparks fly and a new day dawns on bright horizon.

    our 60th release we bring back PD residents, the famous
    Latvian progressive house duo of Blood Groove and Kikis,
    with their magniicent EP, 'Lift' .

    For remix duties we used artists from our roster: Jacqueline,
    Kono (USA) and Sunny Terrace.

    Original Mix:

    Blood Groove & Kikis original "Lift" is mellow and uplifting, especially during the breakdown, and as the song climbs to its climax the flood gates open releasing all sounds intertwined to create this irresistible upbeat tune. Be sure to tune in for this wonder.

    Jacqueline Remix:

    Jacqueline does a fantastic job with the chord progression in this remix, as encouraging piano notes playfully dance along the serene breakdown. A truly relaxing and heart warming sound can be found here.

    Kono (USA) Remix:

    In this version of Lift, Brady makes his mark with a classic galloping drum track, complimentary bass line, and garnished with chiptune elements in this remix. He certainly keeps things light in executing this composition, plenty of euphoria to be found.

    Sunny Terrace Remix:

    It's no secret Sunny Terrace brings light into his tracks in the form of warm chords and leads that seem to evoke warmth like stars twinkle in the night sky. Pulsating bass pads lay tracks in front of this moving train of sound, resulting in an incredible aural journey.

Our journey through PHW continues as we this time present release number 400 on our label and we are of course delighted about hitting as far as we have done. This is a release we have been holding for a while as our thought was that this would be a fantastic release that sum up a lot of our ideas on the label over the years. With two established names collaborating as John Grand & Mark Digital we of course feel great to see these big guns back on the label with “Force Field”. 

With this track, as said, they present a lot of the ideas that we always had in mind with the label, having creative minds, friendly in person and presenting a knockout release through powerful melodic arrangements, driving basslines and all that creativity that so many times rocks our boat. 

We couldn’t be happier than what we are to present these guys and this production to sum things up, we absolutely love it and don’t think “Force Field” is something that should be missed. Awesome work guys as always!

Polish producers Skyhunter and Rafal Sentiel present their collaborative EP release, Memories Of Last Summer, as the closing release of 2020 on the label. Both have been contributing originals or remixes for the label previously, now they have joined together with 3 tracks and 2 remixes from each of them.

Starting with Rafal's Late Night, the wide sounds surround with the simple beat and elegant tones and vocal chops, and the remix from Skyhunter prolongs its sense of elegance and melodic goodness with a piano melody binding all into unison. The release goes down further with their collaborative track Beach Story, combining the melodic sparkles from Rafal and progressive structure from Skyhunter, which it has the best of both worlds. It follows by Rafal's take on Skyhunter's Moment I Won't Forget, with the experimental electronic sounds and more simplistic breaks-like beat, emphasizing on the melodic flow and atmospheric tones. The releases end with the original of Moment I Won't Forget, alongside with more melancholic sunrise vibes and light rays, as the Memories Of Last Summer flows by and the light shines in softly.
