With BDS028, Belly Dance Services presents a delicate yet arresting collaboration between Ravage Sentimental and Nick Hanzo. Their mini-EP Ruins of Us unfolds like a forgotten diary — intimate, poetic, and eerily cinematic. Spanning 3 tracks, the release is a meditation on decay, memory, and the quiet gravity of endings.

A1 – Ruins of Us
Ruins of Us is a rave ballad with techno elements — emotive yet restrained, pulsing with quiet urgency. The track paints the aftermath of love’s collapse with lyrical precision, asking the question that echoes long after heartbreak: "Why did we fall without a fight?"

    "We’re like the ruins of a castle, once strong, now crumbling, no battle."

B1 – Un Rêve Sans Fin (Original Mix)
Drawing on Baudelaire’s poems Ciel brouillé, Incompatibilité, and Femmes damnées, Ravage Sentimental delivers a French spoken-word piece that reads like a whispered invocation. The original mix is sparse and dreamlike, shimmering with ambient haze. The voice of Death speaks gently, offering eternal sleep as a form of grace:

    "Et je t’endormirai dans un rêve sans fin."
    "And I will put you to sleep in an endless dream."

B2 – Un Rêve Sans Fin (Club Mix)
Together, Ravage Sentimental and Nick Hanzo transform the piece into a haunting club rework. Balancing deep melancholy with propulsive energy, the club mix invites dancers into a trance-like state - where Baudelaire's visions swirl in low light, guided by hypnotic pulses and distant echoes.
