Retro Pt. 2

There are times in our lives that can never be forgotten and certainly inspire our music expression.  Many years ago, in the late 80s I had the opportunity to experience a memorable little voyage that is the theme of this piece.  Along the coast of the state of Washington in a tall vintage ship christened the Sylvia. The owner of this ship who impressed me much was someone who loved to educate and share the exprience of being a part of such a journey, and even being given a chance of taking the helm at times.  Being so long ago I am not sure what has become of the Sylvia. But I did manage to find a newpaper clipping (in the Seattle Times) of this fine skipper's expression of what this ship was to him and all of us who experience being aboard her ...

“She was beautiful, built in Sweden as a sailing fishing vessel. Very comfortable in the water. Standing there at the helm, sailing along particularly at night, I’d get that feeling that 95 years earlier someone was standing right here doing what I’m doing. How beautiful is that?”

Voyage of the Sylvia

 One of my originals combined with a few notes by SuperSweep's Nancy MI847J Bonus Stage Track. I used vocals and six from Soul Calibur VI and a screen shot of my Synth Mascot with a tag from my prequel app. Vocals were of Nicole Ker as my Bloody Nancy Mascot and Brinna Palencia as "Zoey" a pretty popular scrapped 6 Tekken character.   This is Just Experimental work... One of my first tracks .

I put some E-guitar phrases I played on this track.
Wanted to express the particular atmosphere by putting human touch on digital beat.
In this time, I wanted to express the situation which is most people in.
they behave mechanically in their own lifestyle.
I think its not that bad thing, but better to recognize what kind of situation we are in.
At least we need to be "smarten up" to get through that kind of situation.
