GS serves as a creative outlet for longtime collaborators Mike & Josh  to dabble & explore with instrumentation & inspiration.  Drawing from a collection of guitar loops Josh had recorded on a cheap USB mic while living in Harlem over 7 years ago, he & Mike have been meeting once every month or so since the summer of 2015 to revisit, brainstorm & record sounds & textures pleasing to them.  As devoted husbands, fathers, students & proletarians, they are only able to conspire intermittently, with limited resources & time. However, they’ve managed to cobble together a few tunes that reflect their shared love of melody, noise & nature.
