This is one of my favorites!  One of the newest GREY(coyote) tracks in existence, this little beauty will resurface later this year along with its siblings "Expectations II & III" on the 'Forever Enough EP'.  

This track begins with a sample-filled opening that functions as an homage to one of my musical heroes, The Books, before it descends into a beat-heavy landscape that changes everything.

Expectations I

2014 New Year's Exclusive (14/14)

This is it.  This is the last one.  The last New Year's Exclusive track.  This one is a mash-up of a few different songs... "I Miss You" by Blink-182, "Pelican Man" by Youth Lagoon, and "Blue Note" by Underoath.  All the samples are pretty visible and prevalent throughout.  Everything else was done by me.

Gathering Marbles

A brand new song in the style of what's to come.  Very exciting stuff to be able to share this with you.  I'm feeling really good about what's happening right now and I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I did making it.  This song is created entirely out of found & stolen sounds ***samples*** (except for the piano) and explores some deep emotional landscapes.  PLEASE ENJOY.

This is an old loop.  Made in 2009 and released on the "Tastes Like Plaid" mixtape in 2010.  Still one of my faves and I wanted to share it!  Hopefully someday it will resurface, born anew in some form or another...

In The City

Started this yesterday, finished it tonight.  My take on Ellie Goulding's "Lights", inspired by Salem's remix of Britney Spears' "Till The World Ends."  

I don't own the rights to this song.  Just had the idea and need to make it happen.

This is a remix of a song by the Revolutionary Beijing Opera.

"In China, Revolutionary opera refers to the model operas (Chinese: 樣板戲; Chinese: 样板戏; pinyin: yàngbǎnxì) planned and engineered during the Cultural Revolution by Jiang Qing, the wife of Chairman Mao Zedong.  As Communist Party-sanctioned operas, they were considered "revolutionary" and modern in terms of thematic and musical features when compared with traditional operas."

"Kiribati (pronounced "Kiribas") is a collection of islands in Micronesia situated about 2,500 miles (4,000 km) southwest of Hawaii.  Throughout the 1800s, British and American sailors visited the islands while hunting sperm whales and expanding trade routes.  The British eventually claimed most of the islands of Kiribati as British protectorates; thus, English is widely spoken along with the native tongue, Gilbertese, an Austronesian language."
