All wounds take time to heal. Especially emotional ones, this song started as just the sentence “It takes time” and I left it alone for months. Until one night, after watching a local Indie artist @Seamus Scanlan perform for the Voice Box that I went home that night and wrote the lyrics and found the chords. I was stricken by midnight creativity and this song was born. It stemmed from me wanting to understand someone I loved that didn’t love me back because they had built up these walls from past trauma. It was both a song about healing for them as it was for me. I wanted to spread the message that the tincture of Time will heal all wounds.
