'Entrainment' is for those deep dub techno fans that like extended atmospheric tracks surrounded by a heavy ambience. 3 of the 4 sides have 1 track to its entire side making the fidelity of these top notch! 'Transversal, Planetary, Capsule' fills up side A with an amazing and gentle intro that has ominous clouds on the horizon. The beat is distance, while the nuances of the airspace is fully dedicated to submerging you deep within. A truly magical and enveloping sound. The next track to uncover is 'Filter, Gradation, Centrifuge'. Imagine that the earth is a ever-evolving dub techno track and you were viewing or listening to it from the distance of the moon. This would be it! There is a tremendous distance that is created in this track where chords flow and move like clouds over large areas of distance. Sometimes, the best description is a visual one if it helps. Breathtaking! 'Stimulant, Perspective, Sensory' starts the next piece of vinyl with another epic one. It morphs like a planet is being formed before your eyes. Basslines move like mountains while chords strike like distance thunder. The last side has 2 tracks sharing the side. 'Reflectance, Reverberant, Cortisol' and 'Predawn'. The first is a grandious ambient number that sounds heavenly while the last featured song is equally stunning as almost a reprise of a previous. Entrainment will be available on white 180-gram double vinyl as well as CD digipak and digital. These are all supersonic soundscapes to immerse yourself in! Masterpieces!

The fourth Exposure Series release is upon us. If you have not heard, the Exposure series is our signature compilation series that features multiple artists and is pressed on vinyl for the most discerning DJs and collectors. 'Linear Radiance' gathers together 4 extremely hot artists in the scene for one special 12'. The EP begins with 'Raizel' by the hot newcomer Grush. This early set builder is smooth in the constraint it has rolling along in the sweet spot. A beautiful jaunt that is rich and fluid. Next, is the amazing Philipp Priebe. 'So Glad' is another Priebe heater. A very talented producer, you can always count on him for great dancefloor business. The melody sneaks up on you as it builds from deep within. A sublime and subdued corker! 'Sonic Shadows' starts out on the B-side from skillful Nicolas Barnes. His contribution is a combination of a big club techno sound and a melodic flow that is almost reminiscent of some prime late 1990's progressive house. Finally, is 'Grey Rythem' by Cirkel Square. Riding a catchy micro dub sound that is clever, fun, and surprisingly deeper than we could have ever hoped! All four tracks make for a healthy, well-balanced piece of wax! Linear Radiance is lovingly pressed and shared on crystal clear 180-gram vinyl. Act quick while copies are in stock. This compilation is sure to get picked up by DJs, collectors, and fans.

A heavyweight lineup of dub techno talent comes together for a deep and textured journey. Krystian Shek's Promise features two original productions from himself alongside with reworks from Yagya and grad_u. As a bonus, this collection expands even further with digital-exclusive remixes from Raytek and Noosa Sound System that come with the original purchase. Milly James returns to the label, lending her amazing voice to a release that bridges atmospheric depth with driving rhythm.
'Glow & Shine' locks into a hypnotic groove from the outset, its analog warmth and weighty percussion forming a solid foundation. A crisp snare and hi-hat pattern provide an irresistible swing, while chords and vocals land together in perfect sync, draped in a rich layer of delay. Spacey breakdowns allow the ride cymbal to subtly emerge, giving the track an evolving energy. The closing moments strip things back, with the chords guiding everything to a natural finish. 'Better That Way' shifts into a more melodic space, balancing intricate drum programming with an emotive vocal delivery. The initial rhythmic stutter adds a unique touch before settling into a flowing beat. As layers build, the chords and voice intertwine seamlessly, evoking a deep, contemplative feel. The breakdown smooths everything out, allowing the track to breathe before a striking bassline shift in the final section brings fresh momentum. The last ambient passage is particularly stunning, offering a moment of reflection.
The legendary Icelandic producer Yagya creates his interpretation of 'Glow & Shine' sees it drifting into dreamlike territory, wrapping the original’s elements in a lush, aquatic atmosphere. More of a song than a club tool, it glides effortlessly, capturing a serene, almost weightless mood. On the flip side, grad_u reshapes 'Better That Way' into a crisp, rolling dub excursion. Airy chords swirl above a commanding groove, with well-placed melodic flourishes adding an elegant touch. The arrangement continuously morphs, deepening its hypnotic pull.
Raytek’s remix of 'Glow & Shine' injects a sharper rhythmic intensity, pushing the track into darker, more driving territory. The vocal treatment becomes a focal point, cleverly reshaped to make the singing the true hook. Meanwhile, Noosa Sound System takes 'Better That Way' into stripped-down, immersive terrain. The off-kilter drum work and layered percussion create a mesmerizing flow, while the winding structure makes it a DJ-friendly tool.
This well-rounded collection that explores multiple shades of dub techno, this release has both dancefloor energy and introspective depth. With a strong roster of contributors, it delivers a blend of classic textures and fresh perspectives.

The opener, 'Spotting', has an active bassline that commands attention. It grooves effortlessly with crisp production, while the breezy, aquatic melodic elements conjure an island-like feel. The use of tribal percussion adds a primal edge while the chords here float like woodwind instruments, delivering a sense of calm and beauty that lingers throughout. 'Indistinctive' follows with a more taught and precise beat, setting the track's pulse with a rolling bassline. The busy chord work plays a crucial role in building the track’s energy, providing the main hook that balances out the intensity. There's no slow build; it launches straight into a dark, commanding energy that sets the tone. 'Tech Sequence 2' introduces a glimmer of melodic fragility — a faint, gentle chord weaving through a dense, urban-decay-drenched production. It’s forceful yet steeped in bleak, cinematic mystery, evoking images of a ruined cityscape at dusk. 'Tech Sequence 3' is where Ajnkana edges toward deep techno territory: sci-fi atmospheres meet crystalline, static-charged chords, evoking the immense power of Nikola Tesla’s Magnifying Transmitter — busy, serious and endlessly fascinating for tech heads. The slower-burning 'Tech Sequence 4' trudges with hypnotic strength, a lower tempo grind that feels engulfing and formidable, while 'Tech Sequence 5' closes the release on a swirling, electrified note. Chords pulse and whip through the mix like stored currents of energy, anchored by a steady, heart-like beat that’s both addictive and meditative. Throughout, Ajnkana achieves a heavy repetition and deliberately atonal palette that embodies the themes of urban decay and desolate travel the artist intended. The anonymity of the track names ("Tech Sequence 1," etc.) strips away any distractions, allowing the listener to be fully absorbed in the industrial soundscapes. Clearly inspired by the likes of Sounds & Sequences but forging their own path, Ajnkana crafts an intense world where techno’s colder, rawer instincts are celebrated without compromise. Tech Sequence is a powerful, hypnotic journey — another essential addition to the Mood Series.

Nicolas Barnes’ Glory Shadow EP, the 140th release in the Mood Series, delivers a masterful blend of deep, heady textures and precise production. Across five tracks, Barnes crafts a blend that both captures and challenges the listener with its intricate rhythms and atmospheric layers.
The opening track, 'Fiber Square Ground', immediately drops you into an expansive atmosphere before a killer rhythm emerges. The addictive groove keeps the track grounded while chords swell and fade in a way that feels like a slow-motion sunrise. It’s an impressive opener that primes you for the emotional depth to follow. Next, 'Asked Question' ups the intensity with its airy, layered production. The chords are flighty, giving a sense of soaring through space. There’s an undeniable feeling of motion here, like shooting through the stratosphere—a perfect transition that sets up 'Glory Shadow'. This title track stands as the deepest offering on the EP. It’s hypnotic, drawing listeners into its gravitational pull with its minimal yet mesmerising textures. 'ReAsamble' is one of our favourites with a breathtaking and emotional melody. The chords ring out like shooting stars, creating a moment of reflection before the final track, 'Upset For Nothing'. This track is the calm after the storm, with an effortless groove.. Its flowing nature provides a satisfying conclusion, bringing balance to an EP that feels equally meditative and dynamic.
Overall, Glory Shadow is an exploration into depth, groove and emotion, with Barnes’ signature production that is as challenging as it is rewarding.

The latest Greyscale release features two immense, sonic worlds fusing together for one outstanding musical adventure. Artists Sibling and Heavenchord team up to take Greyscale and the dub techno genre to even greater heights. The expansive development of sounds and ideas here are truly epic for the listener. Breathtaking melodies, well-defined bass notes and shape-shifting chords of perfection. The sounds are focused, polished and fluctuate throughout the programs in different and unique ways. Volumes dim and flicker while others subliminally and organically carry messages. A great balance of technical creation and mood building runs a theme here. Each song is carefully crafted using the entire spectrum of sound and it becomes easy to get lost in any particular one. For those that think dub techno can be too formulaic and too predictable, we encourage but in fact, we urge them to play this album so they can hear the possibilities pushed forward by these artists with a clear vision and fresh perspectives. An album that is full of depth and arguably some of the most creative in the genre. A must-have!
