Well, I think I could've done more with this, but honestly it was just fun making this track. Ultimately, I think it's important with these community albums to have fun experimenting and attempting to recreate some sounds of the original, or using those sounds in a new and unique way.

This track is part of a collaborative album running at the aphextwin subreddit (/r/aphextwin). It's been very fun organizing the event and seeing everyone's interpretations of the original track.

Aphex Twin - Peek824545201 [Greystar's Part8 Cover]

Really happy with how this turned out, pretty spot on copy with slightly different frequencies and progressions. Used home recorded flute samples and other things for the percussion, the beginning is an excerpt from another song that I worked into this, both made in the same project file so decided to carry some parts over. Have another song that sounds really similar to this, but with completely different chords n melodies. Might post it at some point.

Aphex Twin - Blue Calx [Greystar's CB Mix]

Much older track of mine, had it laying around for quite a while. Fun testing in microtuning, pretty obviously inspired by Aphex Twin's SAWv2, such as "Domino" and "White Blur 2". Experimented with multiple layers of reverb and distortion, nice hearing how it flows around. Loops fairly well.

This is a cover of Aphex Twin's "11 Donkey Rhubarb Remix" made for the album "...We Care Because You Should"!

Samples synths from the Korg Monologue,  Korg Monotron, some phone fm synths, and lots of sounds made from scratch in Renoise. Very fun track.

one of my favorites tracks I've made, just love how long it is. haven't felt like i've captured the same feeling as this one for a while, often look back at this one.
