CrimsonWarlock - Chapter 101: Distant Echoes (Preview)

Here's the info as posted on the KVR-forum in the submission topic:

14 x CM-101 (added one instance to make the pad stereo). NO layered or stacked patches; all sounds are single CM-101 patches (the 'snare' has some gated reverb trickery going on). All patches made by me specifically for this track. All used patches will be uploaded to the KVR patch area. Everything was played on keyboard, no quantization was used (only some minor note edits).

Uploaded a file with the correct name, and while at it tightened up the mix a bit: made room in the bottom end for bass and kick. Some other EQ-tweaks here and there (especially 'there'). Added some compression on the bassline (GranComp3).

Because I had to switch out the track, the previous comments are gone (but still on the other version on my soundcloud account). I hope you guys like this version enough to give me some comments on the new mix Very Happy 

CrimsonWarlock - Chapter101:  Distant Echoes (Final)

My entry for the february OSC (any synth).

This was a quick and dirty one, I didn't have much time available so this was done on just one evening all together (sounds, composing, tracking, mixing). I used only delay and a little reverb, as I wanted to let the pure sound of the synth recognizable (this is also the first demo-track for Ragnarok). All sounds are single patches, no stacks or layers used ;-)

Again (like the previous track), everything is played live and no quantization used ;-) Only 'sequencing' used is BlueARP driving the bassline.

Used 9 instances of the upcoming (free) Ragnarok Synth.

Tracked and mixed in Reaper.

CrimsonWarlock - Midsummernight Love Affair (Ragnarok)

My submission for the 2014 december OSC.

Best listened to with headphones !

Inspiration should be obvious. Apart from the bass-sequence, which is driven by BlueARP, everything is played by hand and non-quantized. Lead-lines are improvised during recording. All sounds are from the default preset bank, so actually made from scratch by me :D. Most are slightly tweaked for the track though.
