Welcome Archypness on our monthly "Sound Archives" broadcast on Radio Kapital! 

This stream is a compilation of released and unreleased Archypness tracks. Starting from atmospheric and even upbeat rhythms, through more psychedelic and heavy to mystical, listeners can experience an incomparable trip of the author's musical vision.

Archypness is a DJ, music producer, and a mentor at the FUNDAMENT DJ School in Warsaw. His vibe embodies a unique vision of cutting-edge Hypnotic Techno with an organic twist.

This year, he's been dropping some killer mixes on The Memoir (Hypnus Records), CodeCast, and Cellardoor. It's been a super fruitful year for his fresh EPs too. He dropped his very first mini-album "Junglence" on his Bandcamp, unleashed "Ricoloctite" EP on the Polish Psylocybina label, and even got his track "Insecta" signed to the QEONE label, run by the renowned artist Polygonia. His new EP called "Eclipse" is finally out on bandcamp! 

To pass the atmosphere of the mix we’ve created an analogue cover made from epoxy resin. Embedded liquidic forms reflect the smooth colorful spectrum of discreet sounds presented in the archive, while plants relate to its organic nature. Everything is balanced in a way that will give a listener an aesthetic audio pleasure.

Ten strumień to kompilacja utworów Archypness, zarówno już wydanych, jak i tych niepublikowanych. Rozpoczynając od atmosferycznych i nawet energetycznych rytmów, poprzez bardziej psychodeliczne i ciężkie brzmienia, aż po mistyczne, słuchacze mogą przeżyć niezrównany trip przez muzyczną wizję tego artysty.

Archypness to dj, producent muzyczny, mentor dj szkoły FUNDAMENT w Warszawie. Jego brzmienie to autorska wizja nowoczesnego kierunku Hypnotic techno w organicznym wydaniu.   

W tym roku odbyły się publikacje mixów na The Memoir (Hypnus records), CodeCast, Cellardoor. Aby oddać atmosferę mixu, stworzyliśmy analogową okładkę z żywicy epoksydowej. Własnoręcznie wykonane formy ciekłokrystaliczne odzwierciedlają gładki, kolorowy spektrum dyskretnych dźwięków prezentowanych w archiwum, podczas gdy rośliny odnoszą się do jego organicznej natury. Wszystko jest wyważone w taki sposób, że dostarczy słuchaczowi estetycznej przyjemności dźwiękowej.

Soundtrack for Phantom Manors

bit of a conceptual one incoming, connecting dots of passion (note: obessesions), and following a linear of sound throughout a life so far. like loose threads of a sweater stitched in my mind from sonic moments, being gently pulled to unravel that part of why i love spooky sounds and shit like that is from growing up and going to theme parks. i’ve always been summoned first and foremost to the the simulation of being haunted in them, with the baddest rides always featuring ghouls and howls of lament, and the best coasters always being monsters to be taken by. 

my family theme park Alton Towers was particularly hooked on horror based attractions in the 90s and early 00’s, ranging from unearthed aliens discovered underground tamed by the twisted steel of the coaster, fragments of voices echoing from the woods and the undead spirits lost in them, paganistic rituals of death, or machines created by dystopian regimes to reduce you to nothing (shouts out oblivion which features in the outro, perhaps the first drum n bass tune i ever heard!).

this mix is largely composed of scores written for these attractions, and also from field recordings i took myself largely from a recent trip to Disneyland Paris (shouts out to my sisters 30th bday and the salt family). the amount of hidden corners such as stalagmite caves eroded from time to forgotten manors kept deathly alive by its remaining and never to leave residents with their own soundtracks is next level. take this as a collage of these haunted moments in sound (given a suitable lvl of fx fuckery throughout). preferably listened to at night. 

also, given an extended suite at the start and woven throughout is the soundtrack and field recordings from Phantom Manor, a masterpiece in its own right, a true storyteller beyond the visual sights, and a VIP of music within my life.
