I graduated from Christ For the Nations in 1984 and completed my Bachelors in ministry in 1989 at Southwestern Assemblies of God College. I started in the radio business with KSTV 93.1FM in May of 1997. The way you make a living in small market radio is through sales. And I was successful at that. I later served as News Director along with sales and in 2001, took over the Sunday Morning Gospel Show which you can listen to online at www.kstvfm.com 8am-9:30am CST. 2012 was the first year I was nominated by the ICMA for both Radio Station and Personality. That honor came again in 2013, 2014 and again this year, 2016. My wife and I attended the ICMA Awards Banquet in October 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many of the artists I play each Sunday. I have not been able to return since then due to a debilitating back condition known as Anklosing Spondilitis.  I consider hosting the Sunday Morning Gospel Show as a tremendous privilege  and thank God for giving me this opportunity to spread the gospel message through country gospel music!
