The second installment of Coastal was recorded in one take during my visit to Montauk in early June.  I was really influenced by the scenery, surf culture, yoga teachers and overall vibe. 

These selections pair well with: rosé, shellfish, teak wood, crops and tops and tanks, low top vans, beach combers, umbrella drinks, and fish tacos >–^•>

This one has summer written all over it.

I was invited to play a Sunset at Camp Ataraxia on Friday... which ended up as the "Storm" day... the Sound moved into the Big Tent they had on 8:15 and esplanade 
everyone that wanted to stay semi dry joined and my sunset turned into an 8 Hour set (...so I'm told, felt like maybe two for me)
we had few power outs and we lost a speaker, but still had a great vibe Going...
this is the first block until we lost power ....we got to enjoy the Double Rainbow and then resumed but I will leave you with this first 2 hour snippet....

This one was soooooo damn fun. This is our set from Burning Man 2023 on Thursday night at Elementum's Midnight Safari party.

Dersu started the set off playing alone and was then joined by Kenny. It had been five years since we played together at Burning Man as the duo Peace In Noise, and it was an incredibly special homecoming.

Thank you to the Elementum Family and everyone who came and danced with us. We couldn't think of a better crowd to play to.

I made this mix for the drive to Burning Man this year. A collection of favorite tracks from different sub-genres of house music, some old some new, and a few of my own edits. The annual journey to Burning Man is a time of reflection for me, and from that I sometimes find inspiration to reflect and convey my emotions through music by making a journey mix. This year I couldn't help but think a lot of my good friend Bob and all the magical experiences we shared together, especially the time I took him to BM for his first burn in 2014. One of my best friends, and one of the nicest, smartest most incredible humans I knew, "he would never look down on anyone and adhered to a strict no-judgment philosophy."
