I was originally planning on recording a 2 hour mix but I was having so much fun I decided to go for 3. Ciao Winter : Hello Spring is dedicated to the longer days, warmer weather, birds chirping, running water, and new life. As I shift from a challenging winter of covid to the new beginnings of spring, I look forward to gatherings, collaboration, creating, building, getting close, breathing, and dancing. Lots and lots of dancing. As I look back at winter, I give thanks for the growth that comes with challenge and the introspection that comes with deeper connections. Burning Man. It's the sum total of what makes being human an extraordinary experience, and that feeling has been my constant and consistent theme on the playa since my first time out, in 1995.  In this unscripted, 75-minute mix, mid-tempo organic house explores and celebrates the cultural nuances of mystically joyful and mesmerizing melodies and the deep push of pulsating rhythm and groove. The sounds of Aboriginal Australia, The Middle East, The Celts, and Africans of North, East and West origination, The sounds of the natives of the  Caucus Mountains and SE Asian steppes are all woven together in an unstoppable flow for the dancefloor.

I encourage you to explore and discover the incredible music the following artists have created, whose music ended up in this mix. Behind every tune is years of each and every producers picking up and practising an instrument, spending years learning music composition and music software and hardware, doing countless gigs, signing music contracts, dealings and negotiations JUST to get THEIR art to YOUR ears and DANCEFLOORS. DRAGONFLY - BEYOND DUST ( SOUNDGARDEN) BURNING MAN 2022

There is a lovely quote about art and how it is the way we choose to decorate space, with that considered then naturally music is how we can decorate time...This conjures up thoughts and visions of being some kind of metaphysical interior designer of sorts?!

It pops into my mind often as I think about curation for any given event or opportunity to share the music that I love, I think of the physical space, those who will likely seek it out and the kind of experience they might like to have depending on time or circumstance...

When given the honour to warm up the stage for Opiuo, Jordan Dennis and Mood Swing & Chevy Bass at The Princess Theatre last month I felt a lot of feelings! First there was excitement, pride and shock which was closely followed by fear, harsh self judgement and doubt all tainted by a solid dose of impostor syndrome.

But when I stepped outside of my mind for a minute I genuinely knew that I could do it, I had all I needed to set the tone and style the evening decorating both time and space thanks to the beautiful music that had already found it's way to me.

Now on the other side of the experience I am pretty damn proud and so so grateful for all the friends who made the extra effort support me in their own special way whether it was during the lead up, in the flesh on the night or the days and weeks that followed as I reflected on it all

I have since enjoyed so many rich conversations about the art of performance from those in the know farther along the path than I am now. It has provided me with comfort, perspective and hope for the future as I anticipate a greater sense of ease to eventually be possible for me on stage.

As always my deepest most heartfelt thanks to the original creators of the tracks selected for this offering, each and every one of them has been recognised by my soul as the medicine it needed at any given time...an inner intelligence at work that is far beyond the scope of my imagination but much appreciated all the same.

My 12th year performing at Priceless was the most fun I've had yet. Thank you to all of the planners, volunteers, and attendees that make Priceless happen. Deep gratitude to the musicians who made the music in this set, especially previous Priceless guests El Búho (@el-buho), David Last (@davidlast), and Rumpistol (@rumpistol). 

Special shout out to my forever inspirations for Forest vibes - Ganucheau (@ganucheau) and Dr. Toast (@drtoast). It still feels like everything I do with music is trying to do for others what they have done for me.

Griffin Crafts - Priceless 2023

Another priceless Priceless for the books. 
What a treat it is for the 3rd year in a row to play this beautiful festival nestled between the tallest of trees.

I played this set at 2am at the Forest stage, and it's all feels and textures - not a rager but full of energy. It's dark and moody. One might even say it's like magma that flows under ground - slow and powerful...

It's a set I've been craving to play for a while - I loved seeing tracks from different times in my life flow together in one potent current.
