Paco Osuna's record label Mindshake welcomes a groove-heavy house music release by Iglesias and Latmun.

Latmun and Iglesias have previously collaborated on the likes of Jamie Jones' Hottrax and Sola, but each is also a successful solo artist.

Iglesias is a Spanish artist returning to Mindshake after the success of his recent 'Dance To My Drums' EP. He has also featured his stripped-back and percussive style on other imprints including Moon Harbour, Toolroom and Lee Foss' Repopulate Mars.

Making his debut on Mindshake, Latmun joins the imprint following high-profile releases on Hot Creations, Kaluki Musik, Relief and Steve Lawler's VIVa MUSiC. Based in the UK, he is also a popular DJ who regularly plays at events ranging from Manchester's Warehouse Project to Ibiza's DC-10.
'Duffman' is an '80s inspired track that samples a classic and fuses it with techy percussion and an infectious bassline.'In The Mood' has a sub-heavy bassline and dark atmosphere layered with flowing percussion and a funky vocal sample with hip hop undertones.

Ben Sterling joins Damian Lazarus’ renowned Crosstown Rebels imprint, partnering with Caitlyn  Scarlett for ‘Don’t Truss’.  

Building on the release of arguably one of the tracks of 2022 with his remix of Tiga’s iconic ‘Mind Dimension 2’, UK  hotshot and Planet X boss Ben Sterling has made 2023 another year of raising the levels, with his debut on  Solomon’s Diynamic becoming an instant summer anthem in the midst of his busiest summer to date. Adding yet  another huge label debut to the mix, he continues to showcase his range across house music as Damian Lazarus  invites him to Crosstown Rebels for the first time, partnering with singer/songwriter Caitlyn Scarlett for ‘Don’t  Truss’ on the revered imprint. 

“I really appreciate the opportunity to work with Caitlyn Scarlett on this one and her letting me use her  vocals. Working with an artist with such a unique voice gives me the style I was looking for to compensate  for this track. I also felt like bringing more of a UK sound to my production, which has made me really  happy with this release.” - Ben Sterling. 

A rolling and crisp production with Scarlett’s alluring and hooky vocals at its core, it’s easy to see why ‘Don’t Truss’  has become a stand-out track from Sterling’s own sets across the globe over the past 12 months. Fusing tightly  programmed percussion, warped murmurs, and a slinking, snaking groove, it’s a track crafted for the dancefloor,  moving crowds unison and leaving a lasting impact. On the flip, ‘Bring Me To The Surface’ is a groove-led and  bubbling cut that keeps the energy levels with skittering drums, acid-dipped basslines, resonant synths and yet  more vibrant vocals.

The pair decided to work together some months ago when they first met at the 2022 Miami Music Week. Following couple of studio sessions in Barcelona, 'Take It To The Dancefloor' was made. A track that reflects a hybrid of both of their unique sounds. Due to their busy schedule with shows around the globe, they managed to finally meet in August and make 'Wake Up' which is the lead track of this heavy hitting EP. Lorenzo De Blanck makes his debut on Nic Fanciulli’s Saved Records this month with his debut ‘White Havana’ EP. Lorenzo is no newcomer to the scene with past successes on labels including NONSTOP, Moon Harbour, Flashmob Records, Deeperfect and previous DJ support from A-Lister’s, Joseph Capriati, Nic Fanciulli, Jamie Jones, Matthias Tanzmann, Kölsch and many more! Lead track, ‘White Havana’ kicks things off, a crisp and energetic cut featuring swinging claps, suspenseful synths and a playful rise and fall bassline. ‘Password Incorrect’ brings laid back House drums with crisply mixed percussion, looped vocals and a pulsating low-end which underpins a series of hypnotic synth hooks that grow with subtle melodic hints.
