Rob's DJ career started at local radio station, Tudno FM, where He spent two and a half years dominating the airwaves. As time went on, He knew he wanted to be a DJ and doing various shows such as the Weekend Warm-Up gave him the perfect opportunity to start learning and create 'Grifkid'. 
Whilst at Tudno FM, He met Silv and Jonny who have become great influences and friends. Silv taught Rob the basics through Vinyl which enabled him to learn discipline which still shows in his work to this day. Not only have Silv and Jonny provided tips and advice but have shared their experiences and time to Grifkid.

One of Grifkid's influences is House DJ and Producer, N.A.N.C.Y , who's energetic and unique performances have inspired Rob. They both also run Events & Promotions Company, "Against The Grain", in which they aim to bring underground House music to the small cities in the UK. Grifkid has also been lucky to play warm up for N.A.N.C.Y at Warehouse Project.
Grifkid has also worked alongside various other DJ's including DJ Caino, DJ Chris Peers and He has previously held residencies/warm up at:
>The Washington Nights NightClub
> Broadway Boulevard
> Gregory's Nantwich
> Varsity Bangor
> Club 147

Grifkid is full of energy, confident with his skills and able to read the crowd and adapt his Music. He will play whatever he thinks will work, is not afraid to take risks and experiment with Music.
