With VivziePop's personal blessing, I present to you the beginning of the next chapter: Addict, featuring the voice of Angel Dust himself, Michael Kovach, and my good friend, the vocalist extraordinaire Chi-Chi! I'm honored to be able to work with such talented individuals for this, as after watching the Hazbin Hotel cartoon I felt an intense need to make some music off of the creative drive I had gotten from it! I was also blessed enough to be able to commission my old friend, animation god Ashley Nichols for the cover art of this, she's super-amazing as usual!

This track marks the beginning of an upcoming wave of new fan-based music from me. This decade I plan to deliver nothing but the best musical content I can accomplish, working with the most talented people I know, on a regular basis, only for you guys. The Grill Marketing & Consulting is a full service radio promotion and marketing company based out of Nashville, Tennessee. 

The Grill was established in April of 2005 and is focused on marketing emerging, developing and established artists to alternative specialty radio, while also offering consultation for record labels and independent artists. We put our heart and soul into every artist we work with. The Grill embraces this ideal and utilizes everything that it’s owner, Michael Newman, used to build the specialty show department at McGathy Promotions from 2002 – 2005. After McGathy Promotions closed down their radio department, Mr. Newman established The Grill Marketing & Consulting.

With over 20 years of experience in the music business, Mr. Newman ran the college radio and marketing department at Virgin Records for 2 1/2 years after graduating from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he was a local college representative for Virgin for 3 years. After almost 6 years at Virgin he went on to UGO.com to work with not only music, but also video games and film. 

In 2002, Mr. Newman moved to McGathy Promotions and headed up the specialty show department, where he also facilitated relationships between commercial radio stations and Best Buy in a developing artist program. “Newman is one of the most knowledgeable and hard working employees I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with,” says Bill McGathy, owner of In De Goot Entertainment. “As my company moves forward, I give my full support to The Grill.” 

Since then, The Grill has fostered successful radio campaigns for such diverse artists like: Ryan Adams, Neon Trees, The Decemberists and Massive Attack, to name a few. “When you approach airplay from a marketing perspective, like Newman and The Grill do, it not only makes sense, it adds great value. The work he did for us in not only getting airplay on Parade Of Lights and Said The Whale but, more importantly, helping us market their tour together, was tremendous.” states Dave Lombardi, Vice President of Promotion, Caroline Records

The Grill Marketing & Consulting prides itself on keeping a fresh and sharp outlook with what’s happening in music, pop culture, and the media. We have had incredible success on the specialty charts, and continue to maintain strong contacts within the radio promotion world. 

Artists such as FUN, The Killers, The Lumineers and Katy Perry (yes, even Katy Perry have all gotten their start through The Grill making us an integral resource to any radio campaign. As our company’s motto suggests: “If it’s HOT, it’s on The Grill.”
