"Following on from the huge success of Compute Riddim w/ Killa P & Badness we had to get 9TRANE back on board for 1FGRM002 with his newest track for us entitled ‘Assault’.

'Tom (1Forty) really had me pushing the boundaries for my track ‘Assault’ on this second grime  drop. We went through a few ideas before really nailing the final version. I feel it really shows off my  darker side whilst still keeping those classic grime elements. Im really enjoying working with 1Forty  and can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds for us both.'

Since his last release with us in June 2017 he’s continued to supply DJ’s with the heat with further plays across Radar Radio, BBC 1Xtra & Reprezent Radio. The Norwich producer has also had another release entitled ‘Skeleton’ on the south coast’s critically acclaimed Southpoint. Having performed at one of the largest underground festivals of 2017, ‘Trajections Festival’ (Bristol) he heated up the dance for the likes of Jammz, Big Zuu & Jack Dat which lead to further bookings back home alongside Champion & Murlo. He        also joined us for the 1st time in Leeds at our takeover for UP4 at Mint Warehouse in November.     
The start of 2018 see’s 9TRANE back in the 1Forty realms despite recently discovering his love for UK Funky which you may see also on the Label later this year..."
