Twin Pities is a new collaboration created by Maxwell Harrison and Kaytlin Borgen. The music infuses elements of dream pop, post-punk, art rock and moody theatrics, while the name was inspired by their mutual ties to the Twin Cities (and to add some absurdity to the dark material).

Their forthcoming debut EP promises lush soundscapes, evocative lyrics, taut dynamics and enthralling narratives.

Growing up in the Bronx, New York as a Dominican woman, Arlenys found her self-expression through the underground music scene. Now a Berlin-based DJ, she’s already making a name for herself, having played at the infamous Lab.oratory in Berghain, Tresor, Fusion Festival, Bossa Nova, and Paragon in NYC. When you experience her sets, anticipate a dynamic fusion of groovy techno interwoven with trance elements, creating a hypnotic auditory journey. 

Beyond her role as a DJ, Arlenys is an integral part of the dark-wave experimental duo, Velvet Vanity. Their sonic landscape is characterized by a playful yet haunting sonic aesthetic, drawing inspiration from the juxtaposition of the joyful darkness found in synth-pop music and the gritty ambiance of Berlin's industrial scene.

She has her own rhythm in music and in life -- before finally stepping behind the decks herself in 2020, DJ BONEY S already looked back on two decades of club culture experience. Passionately collecting vinyl from various different genres for years, she started out as a party organiser in her native Belgium. Her behind the scenes work continued after relocating to Germany where she was heavily involved in establishing the PARALLEL nights at Griessmühle as a fixture of Berlin nightlife. 

As a former booker and label head, DJ BONEY S developed her own unique taste that is first and foremost shaped by one timeless medium: VINYL. She draws from classic 90s sounds and queer techno, travelling to otherworldly electro or cold industrial beats. Sometimes dreamy, sometimes pouncing -- but always trippy -- her sets invite you to close your eyes. 

DJ BONEY S is resident of @slime_berlin  and SOUSAMI (Cyprus), female:pressure member and publishes the PRALL podcast series. She is also one half of DJ Frottée and of Hypnotist, both together with @zikade-x 💜
