Dethcore — Necropolis
Necropolis is a melodic death metal concept album built on decay, power, and the long aftermath of human collapse. Across nine tracks, the album moves from corrupted empires and mass graves to plague, uprising, apocalypse, and finally silence.
This is not a story of heroes or salvation. Necropolis explores what remains after belief fails, authority rots, and the dead refuse to stay buried. Each song represents a different stage of collapse — from the rise of death-ruled kingdoms to the erasure of history itself — ending in a world that still stands, but no longer lives.
Musically and lyrically, the album balances aggression with atmosphere, melody with weight. Themes of corrupted rule, mass death, fear, and inevitability run through every track, forming a single, continuous descent rather than isolated songs.
Necropolis is a monument to what survives after everything else is gone.
