In 2017, Robbie Geoghegan and Chris Robertson took a decision. From the bowels of Ireland and the guts of Glasgow, the two-man team met in Madrid and a mutual love of all things electronic laid the foundation for a Dj partnership: WE FORFEIT.

This hour-long mix sees Robbie flying the flag for Bordello A Parigi with back-to-back b-sides from the label’s vinyl catalogue. Seventeen 12”s from the very opening of the Bordello doors right up to the present day; seventeen tracks of analogue astronomy and mirrorball musings to new beat bawdiness and synth-pop subtleties from a myriad of magical musicians.

WE FORFEIT are residents of Radio Relativa, in Madrid, and regular contributors to IntergalacticFM and NARR.

Each mix will be accompanied by its own hand-painted cover, created by me as a visual expression of the music’s energy and emotion. This first piece, a 40x40 acrylic abstract painting, is dedicated to the inaugural mix in the series.
