I began writing this song (SHOE POISON) December of last year after the Jordan Concord Craze just A few days before we Celebrate the Birth of Christ. I didn't pay a great deal of attention to the Track as I write several. It wasn't until mid January, I learned about the death of a Young Man killed in Washington DC for his Nike Foamposites that I really felt that this was a really serious issue that should be addressed...
