Grm Skl’s 11 Track Debut E.P entitled “The Assignment” is an embodiment of everything that is grime. At a time where the genre is reaching new heights this one really sets a high bar for a debut release.

Highlight tracks include Taking Out Eyeballs– which features a destructive hook from Ten Dixon over an explosive hard hitting aggressive beat that will be sure to have anybody skanking out and smashing whatever in their surrounding area. All in all, besides being an energetic and hype heavy body of work, a mixture of crew, solo and collaborative tracks come together to create a masterwork. At a time where so many free mixtapes come and go just as quickly as they were half-heartedly strung together. Meticulously crafted by real grimeheads, The Assignment sets itself aside from the competition of up and coming grime collectives as an example of how professional music should be conducted. With the completion of #TheAssignment, members Lady Shocker (Formerly Wolf Pack) and Jon E Clayface (Wave Gang) have left the collective to focus on their own solo careers leaving the E.P as a legacy of the re emergence of grime. The remaining 4 Members continue to represent Grm Skl and are working on lots of exciting projects to come in the future.
