"Moon Sugar is the follow up to 2018's Blu Mag EP. The tempo is slower, the beats more dusty, compressed and blown out, weaving between genres and thoughts. I wanted to take things back to the absolute minimum in terms of production. There's loads of tape noise, artefacts, and general griminess. When I did Blu Mag, it was a complete outpouring of emotion for me, and it's the same with Moon Sugar. For me, the underlying curve is that of progress, but with lingering melancholy and nostalgia for times past. I've always wanted to do a full LP - perhaps I will at some point. x"
