Deejay Groove Candi biography!!!


Music has been in DJ Groove Candi's blood since her childhood. Her
brand has grown beyond imagination within her few years stay in the
music scene. The Limpopo born shining star wears many guises; DJ,
producer, and vocalist. She is
welcomed as the beautiful new face in South Africa's house scene.
Paving the way for women seeking equal time behind the decks as their
male counterparts.

After just a few years on the scene, she quickly discovered her niche
within Deep and Soulful House and that is where she remained. She
quickly rose from playing across the nation.

She’s played alongside some of the industry’s most talented DJs like
Black Coffee, Ralf Gum, Christos, Calvin Morgan, Zinhle, Ganyani,
Franck Rogger, Oskido just to mention a few.The host of "Strictly for
the Hunnies" every thursday gig at House 22-pta.

Her success has earned her acclaim and opportunities, including spots
intercontinental. Popularity has her rocking the crowds from South
Africa, Lesotho, and Zanzibar, Tanzania-Dar es salaam, Namibia.

Always true to her inner visionary, Groove Candi continued her
ventures featuring on like Jika Majika on SABC1, The ferminine touch
with DJ Zinhle on Yfm, LKG shows on Soweto TV, Big Brother Africa,
and her mixes running from all National Radio stations countrywide!.


At the same time, continues maintaining her own brand which is
uncompromising playing at gigs like The Gauteng Beach Party, Sixties
party the list is endless.

She is currently also giving back to the community by being in
campaigns like "Dress a School child Campaign" in Schools around Tembisa,
"help dress the football-club campaign" called the Terminators in
Mamelodi, worked also at the Mokopane community radio station.
