The seventh release on SPAZIOTEMPO, the 4/4 side of Where We Met, marks Rambal Cochet’s full gas debut on the label.

The title track Ambientica is a proggy weapon that brings acid vibes and techy rhythms in a perfect balance. East Block, the other track on the A side, explores dreamier melodies with a punchy structure.

The B1, Tidal Types, is a techy prog weapon with ethnic samples and clear 90ies reminders and Underwater Armour, the closing track, seals it up with more trancy evolution and yeah, we can’t get enough of em!

"What's retro ?!" - This is the quest that Mutandis has chosen to undertake in its new one-hour set. In short, the set embodies the distinctive musical colour of the 90's, wrapping you up in its smooth, yet hypnotic vibes. Always inspired by spooky cuts, we find on the menu an erotic selection of sultry pads, solid grooves undulating in the low-end and funkadelic rythms… To be consumed without moderation !

As the night wore on and the beats continued to pound, time became but a fleeting concept. The hours slipped away, like sand through an hourglass, as the party raged on. From the pulsating rhythms of techno to the ethereal melodies of trance, the music carried us on a journey through the ages of electronic sound. As dawn broke, we were left with a euphoric exhaustion, a feeling of transcendence that only comes from a night of unbridled revelry. 

This mix is a tribute to those moments, a sonic snapshot of a sleepless night spent lost in the music. A love letter to my life in Berlin, and especially to the nights spent on a particular boat, rocked by the diversity of rhythms and melodies. So close your eyes, and let the rhythms wash over you once again, as we relive those hazy, blissful hours.

Wrong Ways

This year marks 3 years of Needs.

Since humble beginnings in 2017, the label has gone on to release tracks from some of our favourite artists in the scene, as well curating events with essential charities and initiatives such as UN Women's HeForShe campaign, and also Earth Day.

To mark this special occasion we’re back where it all started, raising money and awareness for mental health. October 10th marks World Mental Health Day and this year's theme set by the World Federation for Mental Health is suicide prevention. To recognise and promote this occasion we’ve brought along another all-star cast to help us spread the message far and wide.

Needs 008 is a double vinyl compilation which features the talents of ​Shanti Celeste​, ​OCB​, ​Michelle​, ​Bobby.​, Peder Mannerfelt​, ​Yu Su​, ​Adam Pits​ and ​DJ Sports​.

Stay tuned to the Needs channels during our birthday month for regular updates, plus panels and artist features.
