Organic Tunes returns with label boss The Organism for a brilliant pair of new tunes, while Whitesquare is enlisted to remix.

Ukrainian artist The Organism is a multi-genre talent and always unpredictable producer with a signature style that embraces the best of house, techno and plenty in between, as he does here once more.

Radha is a rugged and elastic tune with trippy vocals layered over rolling beats. It's freaky and fun and sure to make a real impact. Isa is then darker and heavier, with more weird wordless vocal sounds over a tight synth riff, cosmic keys and a driving drum line.

Whitesquare hails from Italy and since 2012 has been blending tracks from all across the electronic spectrum. He remixes it into a more playful tune with a hooky melodic riff that bounces away like a woodpecker.

These are three left of centre and brilliantly original house tunes.

HEARecs (@hearec) presents 'Acid Jungle EP' by Dos Locos (@sjrdx1behmmh). The young duo from Israel delivers a dynamic release with powerful leads and acid elements gravitating between dark disco and acid house. The EP is composed by two original tracks: Acid Jungle and Under Attack and the tracks have already been playing around the globe, receiving great response on the dancefloors of renowned festivals and clubs around the globe. The duo adds the house imprint to their release’s roster alongside our fellow labels Phisica and Ritual.

With a Dark Disco sounding introduction on the eponymous 'Acid Jungle' the listener slides smoothly to a more sinister register. The animal’s are let out during the build up to gather and the acid synths compiled with grooving snares and the vocals get you through this dancing adventure.

Almost three years after his cult track ‘Hypnotise’ brought the devil out in us, comes the beguiling and unique new single ‘Perfect Time’ on Correspondant. Downbeat, dark and sexy,

"Rich spaciousness is the aftermath that we feel after dancing all with friends. When everyone and everything is strangely synced, when we are untouchable.”

Reminiscent of a Wild Bunch record but produced by Two Lone Swordsmen somewhere in the 22nd century, the stark sleazy beats give heaps of space for Cormac’s provocative vocals. Eagles & Butterflies meanwhile gives ‘A Perfect Time’ the consummate dancefloor treatment. The main mix packs a wry but euphoric Italo punch that shimmers and wriggles around the vocal. The rave mix, meanwhile, kicks with more electroid angularities, eventually melting into brazen trippiness.

The World, as we know it, has changed. A routine rethought has allowed time to create. With borders closed and friends isolated from one another, our ‘40 Days In Quarantine’ series has invited artists to connect us all together once more via the power of music, as we live out this surreal and dystopian period. 

Borders Of Light’s boss, Toto Chiavetta, delivers our first installment - three tracks characterizing and capturing the varying emotions felt whilst confined by himself in Italy. It touches against the chaotic, the calm and the positive - emotions we have all been battling with over the past weeks. It shows the testament of the human mind and the strength and emotions we have all been experiencing. 

Suheir Hammad - What I Will (Toto Chiavetta Liaisons Dangereuses - 326 Michigan Ave Edition): A nostalgic battlecry

Polishing off the release is a penned tribute to two of Toto’s inspirations - Ron Hardy and Liaisons Dangereuses. Hardy was one of the purveyors of house music in Chicago in the 80s, and as a resident at The Music Box (address 326 Michigan Avenue) in the city, he would often play music from the equally innovative and unconventional German band. 

‘What I Will’ combines elements regularly expressed by both artists with a poem spoken by Suheir Hammad placed on top. The words are a feisty piece of art - a battlecry of rebelling against what’s considered the societal norm of thinking. In the background, bright harmonic chords beam through to form the uplifting groove, as raw hi-hats daze in for a classic disco structure: an element quintessential to and continually showcased in early house music. Coming to its peak, the line ‘I will dance and resist’ are looped repeatedly - highlighting a strengthed state of mind. Nearing the end, industrial-sounding elements inspired by Liaisons Dangereuses take their place for a punchier approach.

Seamlessly blending together a sense of tact with soulful sentimentality, driven by the powerful words of Hammad, ‘What I Will’ is a vigorous reminder of our own fighting spirit, and that we are stronger than we know right now.
