For WSNWG’s upcoming chapter, label head Rødhåd joins forces with DJ, producer and Sound Engineer Fadi Mohem.

This mesmerizing four-track EP was recorded in the magical afterglow of a collaborative jam session with Speedy J’s STOOR LAB back in April. The energy from the session is directly translated into the recording, a collection of powerful techno cuts amplified by cinematic sound design.

For the third installment of Token’s Fuga compilations, the label invites another list of 9 cutting edge artists to put their skills to the test. Ignez, Emily Jeanne, Altinbas & Cirkle, Alarico, Dustmite, Yant, Marcal, and Decka all offer their unique vision of contemporary club music for a collection of tunneling and intelligent cuts. 

Introducing the compilation, Ignez warms us up with the appropriately-named ‘Celestial’ - a 6 minute argument between melody and dissonance over a thick percussive line. Emily Jeanne then continues with ‘Red River Delta’ to lift some of the weight with a dissociative mind-bender. The crisp sound design and wide stereo image allow for an exhale before Altinbas and Cirkle introduce their collaboration ‘Uhlanga’. With our focus back on the body, the duo turn up the pace and prioritize groove. With rhythm at the forefront, depth is given to the track in the ambience, creating a rainforest-like atmosphere with resonant stabs streaking over the tighter low-end. Alarico then picks things up by taking advantage of this crescendo to present the energetic climax of the compilation with ‘Spit’. Hypnotism becomes almost paranoia with vocal cuts camouflaging themselves in the pulse of the track that only releases us with the occasional fleeting arpeggio. Walls rise and we’re in concrete for Dustmite’s ‘Filaments and Jaws’, which wastes no time in introducing itself with clear intentions and an imposing, low hi hat. He then lifts the record with a hovering main synth that drifts the experience back into a nervosity that complements the preceding track. It’s Yant’s turn to guide us with ‘Take the Reins’ - an almost nostalgic record with infectious chord stabs over a pounding 909, before leaving us with Marcal. ‘Dancing Pursuit’ is offered to the listener as another dance floor weapon with a density in its percussion and ambience that’s balanced by the sequence of the lead synth and creates a lot of energy. Decka then takes control with ‘Fracture’ with a brutally saturated kick over whipping two-bar synth loops to close out the compilation with a head-spinner.

Luke Slater is back as Planetary Assault Systems with another iconic EP titled ‘Devotion’. As a trailblazer in techno with anticipation ahead of every release, Slater appoints complementary scene Truncate and Barker for the remixes.

‘Devotion’ opens the EP with what can only be described as raw drum machine psychosis. Slater whips up multiple, classic tom-based 909 sequences with impact - he keeps things straight to the point before introducing the defining vocal sample. Truncate remixes the track by stripping it down to its bare essentials and emphasizing the rumbling kicks. He also gives the track his own flare of groove elements that build stylistic progression throughout the track.

Arkan has previously showcased his productions on the SK_X series while newcomer Oktobr has been making waves on KSR and the label he collaboratively runs with Arkan “Autonome Records”

The pair share the 12” with a split EP. 

Arkan opens it up with a more playful approach for the “Interface” track, an ode to the great K41 club in Kyiv features on the A2 “Kyrylivska 41”. Both tracks here have a very menacing energy that look to take the dance floor into the darkness and really set the mood. 
The tunnelling and sharp “Surrender” track, a more raw sci-fi approach from Oktobr starts the B-Side of the record. Valkyrie with its loopy, driving and hypnotic aesthetic close the EP.

At the beginning of the 2000s there was a time when Boriqua Tribez was one of the fundamental characters in techno in his hardgroove facet. Protagonist, with a sound based on tribal and Latin sequences... 20 years later the Originally from Austria, presented his new project a different alias but just as powerful and that in the last year has not stopped working magnificently, for that reason , we are happy to have Uncertain debut in ANAØH.

3 original, powerful, fast tracks, with a lot of groove, class, dance music, without different pretensions, highlight the experience of this veteran producer.

We already had a powerful and special release, but almost on a whim we wanted to do an experiment, as always, being faithful to our philosophy, contrasts always leave good results, so we invited a young producer, a very dear friend of ANAØH and The entire team, Alarico, whom we invited to participate as a remixer, the result is majestic, a reinterpretation of the track 'Terminate' in its most minimal, clubber and deep state, as always, without neglecting the groove. The complete release is a diamond that we hope, enjoy as much as we do!

Skryptöm celebrates 15 years with a series of four collab EPs. Each artist of the label invited one of their favorite producers for a unique collaboration.

A lot has happened over the past 15 years, new musical styles, switch from vinyl to digital and streams... changes that Antoine Husson (aka Electric Rescue) has welcomed with the same passion since the label creation in 2007. The french imprint has turned into a family of artists and projects, expanding into different musical styles, developing older members and welcoming new ones.

All artists spent days together jamming in the Skryptöm Collective project on various occasions in Caen, Nantes and Morocco before the pandemic. More recently the frequent Skryptöm parties at Nexus and Km25 (Paris) helped bond all artists together.

With this family spirit in mind, all artists had to feature on the compilation and the collabs were a fun way to welcome friends, mentors and inspirations.
