Bionic Romance EP is Anetha’s second release on Blocaus series following 2017's very successful Leftover Love EP. Once again, Anetha continues to play to her strengths and delivers four tracks - diverse and rich in the depth, texture and hypnotism of techno deep space explorations. On the A-Side, ‘Myiuki & Patrizia’ starts the release as an intricate, atmospheric title track with warm synth lines ; ‘Ultra Speed Dating’ features a muscular four-to-the-floor beat and a perpetual stomp to devastating effect perfect for peak-time. On the B-Side, ‘Silicon Desire’ takes us in a slightly melancholic direction with its hypnotic pulses. ‘Virtual Ritual’ closes the EP as no nonsense purified techno with a raw groove. Monnom Black will mark its 17th release with its first various artist compilation presented on triple vinyl. Keeping with the label’s modus operandi, the compilation is packed with iconic, raw and uncompromising techno, featuring 13 artists new and old to the imprint, including a re-release of a classic Drax aka Thomas P. Heckmann track from 1993.

To coincide with the launch of the compilation, Monnom Black will hold its first highly-anticipated label party. Locking arms with the notorious underground Dutch promoters Reaktor, known for their challenging events and pushing the boundaries of what techno has to offer. Together they will celebrate with an electronic onslaught on New Year’s Eve in Amsterdam’s Elementstraat Warehouse. A location cut to the bone that perfectly encapsulates the label and promoters combined vision and ethos.

Dax J curates the night fusing the label together for a special moment in time, with the titan warehouse opening up two of its rooms hosting a monster line up with the likes of CJ Bolland, Regis as CUB, Thomas P. Heckmann, I Hate Models, UVB, Stranger, Zanias, Cressida, Inhalt Der Nacht, Raffaele Attanasio, Tommy Holohan and Remco Beekwilder.

Dead But Dreaming

Our latest premiere features a track titled 'Stop Crying' by promising French artist Darzack which is forthcoming on his 'A Night Lulled By Cupid Cygals' EP on Parisian label Take Hit Records.

Growing up the artistic hub of Brittany in France, Darzack’s intensive drum and percussions training, piano and singing lessons led him to begin experimenting with electronic music and hardware discovery. 

Darzack’s productions create bridges between various musical styles becoming a huge musical melting pot featuring floaty melancholic moments, acid touches and breakbeat inspirations.  

On the flip side, ‘Stop Crying’ lays down fast-paced drums, rising pads and cosmic leads driving the energy into oblivion.

The EP also sees Darzack invite JoeFarr for remix duties on 'Fucking Masked Depression' which is an absolute killer as you would expect from the man.
