For this very first edition of the, we've gathered 14th promising artists of the groove scene. Swerving from ghetto ryhtms, dubby sounds, raw & hypnotic to upfront, funky and straight forward tunes, GRRVVA001 is an ode to the groove scene's musical diversity and eclecticism found nowadays.

We would like to thank everyone who's been following the label so far through the FDL series or the G.R. mixes, as well as all participants and producers for their artistic contribution to those releases that have built the most recent part of our imprint the last 6months!

Glasgow. First inspired to try his hand at electronic music via the lofi house

The Second Release for our Free Download Series is provided by the hardgroove master DJ TRACKSÜIT from Glasgow.

DJ TRACKSÜIT is a Scottish Producer. He was born in Falkirk but now he's living in Glasgow. His first experiences with the electronic music where the lofi house scene in 2015/2016, where he began jamming out house tunes in his bedroom. Now his style has evolved and he takes inspiration from tribal and hard groove techno from the 90’s and early 2000’s. He unleashes a relentless barrage of beats, genre & style combination that reverberate through the dimly lit corridors of the club scene. This time with "PHONKY TOOL" he created a very effective & loopy track that can be easily layered with other tracks such as his tracks by blending the grooves.

AnG comes from Breda, the Netherlands. He’s a 22 year old producer but very talented with a unique style behind the decks & laptop. He lights up dance floors with enchanting energy throughout different layers & styles. His journey began in music production at a young age, making music in style’s like House, Ghetto, Hip hop beats but now he decided to focus on Techno & by adding some influences of his past into his hardgroove/ghetto productions . 
He crafts infectious danceble arrangements that pulse out vibrant & positive energy!

He’s also the co-founder of ruis.collective, AnG fosters collaboration among young electronic creatives, championing mutual learning and growth.
Beyond the beats, the creative journey is a testament to RUIS. devotion to rythm and movement.

Our fourth instalment of our free download series comes from an upcoming duo of Australian producers called: Deaf Toucan.

Deaf Toucan are an Australian producing duo who were born in the city of Melbourne and Sydney. Their style is influenced by the sounds of early 90’s and 2000’s techno and hardgroove. The two have been making their way through the underground dance scene in Eora/Sydney where the pair have been unleashing a combination of hard hitting grooves and piano like house cuts. Their original tracks generate infectious energy that are crafted for high positive liveliness, aiming to provide rhythm for the dance floor. With their new track “Carnival Retribution”, they have created a driving bass line that is layered with samba styled vocals and percussive elements like bongos, claves and hats, helping bring together a contagious groove.

For our fifth installment of our free download series we welcome two french artists that joined forces for this release: 

Fasilidas from the south of France and now based in Paris, the young DJ/Producer takes us on a journey through his percussive and danceable universe, heavily influenced by the sounds of Hip-Hop and Disco.
He began his journey in electronic music later on and quickly developed a passion for the genre. In his mixes, Fasilidas doesn’t hesitate to blend genres, navigating between hard groove, trance, or even hypnotic, thereby asserting his musical identity without reservation.

Haüt is a producer and DJ based in Paris. His sound is defined by genres such as 2000s hardgroove, tribal, and ghetto techno. Haüt started producing and DJing in 2020, and for the first time, he is releasing his solo EP on PA$TI in May.
This DJ set is a blend of mental groove, old school, and recent hard groove tracks, featuring unreleased tracks from emerging European artists.

With a plethora of releases, club appearances and more within 2024, Chris embarks on what is set to be a very important one for the artist.

Moving on to the fourth podcast of the Groove Revival series, we welcome Isa Tchesnokova from France, Montpellier.

Combining two jobs: model by day and DJ by night. In 2021, she began performing at events such as Silencio, Club 82, Recyclerie, Point Éphémère in Paris, and more recently at Sanctuary in Milan. Influenced by 90s/2000 and modern techno, KAIPE started mixing in Paris 5 years ago as part of the La Brigade collective. He concentrated on production 2 years ago, because he always wanted to make music. Niall is a 22 year old Irish based artist specialising in Tribal, Hypnotic & loop-driven techno from both the new and old era's.
Having a true passion for a multitude of genres and subgenres of electronic music, his true sound is heavily influenced by the late 90s & early 2000s era of loop-driven techno. However, it's no surprise to hear a variety of genres from the old and new in Niall's highly energetic sets.
Having performed all across Ireland in the past 2 years, Niall has achieved multiple headline shows in various cities like Galway, Sligo, Limerick, Dublin & Belfast. In the summer of 2023, he made his first Irish festival appearances at Electric Picnic and Life Festival which were two roaring successes. He completed his first North American tour in 2023 which saw him play in Vancouver, San Diego, San Francisco, Chicago and New York alongside his former collective. He has since had solo performances in Glasgow, London, Norwich & Berlin and is looking forward to ticking off some more cities before the end of 24.⁠ ⁠He has also featured on Brixton Radio, NTS
Radio (both London) and Amsterdam Most Wanted Radio.

EREIB is a 22 year old Dj and producer from Geneva in Switzerland. As one of the three driving souls of the record label Introspective, EREIB recently made his marks with releases and premieres on labels such as Deadline Records, Laburnum or BCCO. Former sound engineer, EREIB’s productions aim to blend live and field recordings with more classic sound design. 

For this free download release he’s accompanied by Samuel Berthoud to create a unique sounding track, blending jazz and ghetto influences.
