Originally released in March 2016, Orsen's "Elysium" delivered twin track nirvana with its luscious melodies and strong rhythms. Now returning for a well-deserved second outing, Lithuanian and American talents supply two brand-new interpretations.

Donatello is an artist requiring little in the way of introduction to the modern music listening cognoscenti. With an impressive list of DJ appearances across his homeland and beyond, the Lithuanian artist has seen his skills recognised alongside Nick Warren in Hamburg and The Prodigy in Vilnius, while being part of his country's famous ATARI roster has seen huge, floor-filling performances. At Club "Galaxy" in front of fifteen hundred party goers and a regular at "EXIT", Donatello's unique approach blends tech and progressive house with a large dose of techno thrown in for good measure.

A no less impressive production career has seen a plethora of original and remix material hit the virtual shelves for a number of high-profile labels. Stripped, Black Hole and Mirabilis have played host to Donatello's work on a regular basis while the Spring Tube group has also been a constant companion on the Lithuanian's production journey. A regular with partner and fellow countrymen Kastis Torrau, the duo has been responsible for victory in a remix competition for Sasha's "Cut Me Down" on Last Night On Earth, as well as a choice selection of dancefloor killers. A trio of production credits for Proton Music included the spring 2016 release of the "Genesis" EP to much critical acclaim and commercial success as Donatello now debuts for Particles. Taking on "Witching Hour", trademark bassline flair fills the lower spectrum with a strong, rich sound that resonates across the near nine-minute voyage. Paying homage to Orsen's work, the powerful synth lines of the original are represented in stripped back, low-slung fashion as bounding beats and cadenced rhythms manifest themselves in a work of skill and poise.

US based producer and DJ, Michael Sandler, has seen a rapid rise in fortune and recognition through his SAAND moniker. Performances at illustrious festivals including Lightning in a Bottle and Woogie Weekend have enhanced a reputation that is further showcased by his work for the California based "Music 4 Lovers" publication as director and senior editor.

With a penchant for the "melancholic shade of house music to flourish" through "sulky textures", SAAND has amassed an impressive portfolio in a short space of time backed by the prestige of being named as one of Beatport's "Breakthrough Artists of 2015". As such, his work has found its way onto such luminary imprints as Dilate, Motek and Union Jack, while the scintillating rhythms of the four-track, "Mysterious Power" EP lit up the Sol Selectas imprint in early 2016. Supported by Tigerskin, Derek Marin and Andre Salmon, SAAND's debut for Particles is a rich groove-oriented interpretation of "Elysium" that drifts forward in enticing fashion, building effortlessly through the melodic components that are such a strong feature of Orsen's original. Backed by a strong hypnotic beat and delicate hi-hat percussion, the resultant work is full of the guile and technical prowess that SAAND has become renowned for.

A pair of remixes from Donatello and SAAND have ensured a state of perfect happiness is well represented in Orsen's "Elysium".

Hafberg - Ether

Hafberg is a very promising newcomer to Aftertech Records. His deeply moving bassline and fascinating melody give a very emotional feeling to this track. The beat is strong and steady while the rest of the track seems to be lifting of all throughout the track, where each element is pushing each other further until a wonderful melodic climax has been reached. A real masterpiece by Hafberg!

The "One Side of the Underground" series on Proton Music has been the perfect vehicle for Rick Pier O'Neil to showcase his incomparable production skills. Now taking "Cancun" from August 2018's best-selling "Vol. 2," remixes for Yin and Yang come courtesy of Sri Lankan and Mexican artists.

Established artists in their own rights, Replicanth & Rodrigo Cortazar have created quite a stir with their production partnership. Their solo production material was recently featured on a host of high-profile imprints including BeatFreak Recordings and Balkan Connection and supported by a DJ glitterati that includes Hernan Cattaneo. First joining forces on the "Colossus Purple" track for NOPRESET Records in May 2017, the Mexican duo have gone on to feature for the likes of Natural Rhythm, Sudam Recordings and We Are Here Music.

Now making their collaborative debut on Yin, Replicanth & Rodrigo Cortazar take "Cancun" on a bouncing bass groove journey, backed by strong beat and off-kilter hats. Pad chord progressions from the original make their presence felt in richly textured layers, while additional production material, including a meandering vocal phrase, give a new focus to O'Neil's work.
