In the 2018 year, the DJs collective/platform Global Funk based in the Basque Country celebrates the 10 year anniversary. During this period they've been organizing multiple events: parties with international and local guest DJs, such as Alice Russell & TM Juke, Nickodemus, Captain Planet, Tahira, Dusty, Txarly Brown, Jesús Bombín,... to name a few, collaborations with some festivals, shows and tours across Europe,... To celebrate this first decade, DJ Makala, the man behind since the beggining, has made a compilation with 20 tracks, describing the trajectory of Global Funk with differents songs, remixes, re-edits, re-works,... produced by themselves, which has been a kind of soundtrack of the collective during whole this first decade. Let's Dance in Baskenland!

On the 6th EP of Mousike Records; DJ Nirso brings two very distinctive songs connected through their African-American musical roots.

The title track of the EP “Benção” has drums and percussions that resonate deep into the African influence of Brazilian culture and at the same time brings an introspective feeling through its electronic elements and repetitions. Second song “Cumbiastatke” is a mix between Cumbia, the latin-american rhythm that has it's roots deep into Africa, and Ethiopian modern music, with strong and profound melodies played in mysterious oriental scales.

Benção will be out on July 31st with Borchi and Santi & Tuğçe Remixes.

Groove Club started their collaboration in June 2015 at the VRTW Social Stage hosted at the Electric Castle Festival, in Cluj. It was a beautiful sunset when they started to perform, and almost instanly the audience was magnetized, and people began to gather in front of the stage. The reaction was overwhelming and immediate.

Groove Club mean joyfulness and dance.

They celebrate the return of the Popcorn style, performing a fusion of 50s ~ 60s hits with a twist of modern technology in terms of sampling and looping. Their repertorire and jams circle around Popcorn, Soul, Jazz and anything funky.
