ARTIST BIO

Ignacio Barcús aka Nacho Barcús is an emerging DJ born in Bragado, Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2015, at the age of 18, when he decided to live in Buenos Aires, he became more familiar with general musical culture and live shows. Starting in 2018, he decided to travel and made his first connections with electronic music, leaning more toward the House sound. Thus, in 2020, living in New Zealand, he began mixing music, more specifically, Deep and Progressive House, influenced by friends, and international artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Khen, GMJ & Matter, or artists from the local Argentine scene such as Paul Deep, Ezequiel Arias, and Sebastian Busto. After two years of positive experiences and a wealth of learning in the local New Zealand scene, he decided to travel to Europe in search of new paths, where he was fortunate enough to share the stage with Ezequiel Arias, Dmitry Molosh, Subandrio, DJ Ruby, MAZE 28, Andrés Moris, among others.

In recent years, he has dedicated much of his time and energy to music production, always in search of a sound that identifies him. In 2024, he released his first releases: "The Essence" on the US label Droid9, and, in collaboration with producer Eichenbaum, "Delayed Senses" on the Belgian label 3rd Avenue, where he also had the opportunity to participate as a remixer.
His style ranges from deep house, progressive house, to other subgenres of house and techno, with a hypnotic imprint.
