We close the year with this EP by the heads and minds of the label that showcases the versatility and creativity of electronic music. It's a very diverse EP that ranges from simple breaks to eclectic and fast dance rhythms that will unsettle you without a doubt. The strongest common point of connection between side a and side b is the absence of vocals that allow the music to speak for itself. While Imanol created two atmospheric tracks transporting the listener into a transcendental journey filled with ethereal melodies and hypnotic rhythms creating an introspective sound, Panko, on the other hand, materialized two tracks that catapulted the listener into latin rhythms and frenetic electronic elements and captured the essence of our fast-paced modern times, reflecting the accelerated trend in which we live through. The EP's flow is carefully crafted to keep the listener captivated from start to finish. From the spiritual ambiance of Imanol's tracks to the exhilarating energy of Panko's compositions. While Imanol invites us to embark on a mystical journey, Panko immerses us in an exhilarating panorama of the world. The juxtaposition creates a dynamic listening experience, demonstrating the vast range of emotions and moods electronic music can evoke.

Imanol is always looking for the groove, he’s a digger and loves to find lost songs. In 2018 he mounted his own label U’re Guay Records publishing dozens of emerging artists from around the world opening doors to constantly continue releasing his music for various labels such as Golden Soul Records (GER), Electric Music Foundation (USA), About Disco (BR), Muzic X Press (UY), This is not (IT), Dark mirror (RU), LW Recordings (UK), Jade (FR), Kyma Komplex (MX) among others. His music has been selected by DJs of the size of Folamour, Jacques Renault, Freddy Fresh, MCDE, Rahaan, Javi Frías, James Rod, among others. After a decade of musicing any encounter, the rhythm of presentations has become constant in clubs and parties in Uruguay emerging new opportunities in several countries around the globe.

Our next release brings together GIO, a Brazilian DJ and music producer based in Berlin and SUB-P, an Argentinian producer based in Brazil who's deeply passionate about our dance floors.

“Ladeira” explores the construction of hypnotic and percussive grooves in a Brazilian soundscape, referencing everything from the striking percussive axé of the trios elétricos in Espírito Santo to the pulsating beats of tribal house. With two tracks accompanied by remixes by Latin producers Feasting and Panko, the EP creates an atmosphere that highlights the power of music to alter the states of consciousness of those who surrender to the rhythm.

The Montevidean outlet finished last year with “All Remixes Vol. 1”, a bold 25-track compilation featuring some of the hottest Latino acts allied with spot-on contributions from across the pond; and now, it kicks off 2025 with another thrilling collection of gems: The 13-cut VA “PERCS” comes packed with solid works from Alírio & Tuxe, Anastasia Zems, CABE, DJ Karen, Ella De Vuono & Etcetera, Encanto, Franco Galán & Zoras, Glo My Feat. Vital, Panko Feat. Rumi De Baires, Praqqa, Tinitus, Whitney Weiss, and Imanol. Premiered here, the latter’s contribution. 

With appearances on Golden Soul, Kyma Komplex, About Disco, and his very own U’re Guay, master Imanol successfully flirts with many of his main influences in order to bring his vision of dance floor music to life. Expect an eclectic and colourful output filled with Disco, Funk, Indie, House, Acid, Techno, and even Trance references.

For his contribution to “PERCS”, Imanol invites us for a cosmic trip through his pop culture influences. Using fragments from the famous “Where No Man Has Gone Before” speech of the original 1966-1969 Star Trek science fiction television series, Imanol started working on a way to translate such influences into music, and the result is a frenzied theme brimming with euphoria and nostalgia, starring robust Acid and Electro displays.
