New release by label boss Imanol include two remixes by Mahkina AKA Alex Aguayo and Giama respectively.

These three original tracks are inspired by the global crises between pandemic, war and devastated markets bringing the old school break sound to our ears and the usual house we provide hand in hand with these three Latin American artists

Groovie bassline accompanied by classic synthesizers with a lot of arpeggiators and endless dance loops. "Hundidos" (sunken) has some original vocals by Imanol itself and the lyrics indicate the aforementioned concept. Break N°2 is a part two dub version of the first track produced with similar instruments. "Dr. Jekyll y el Mr. Hyde" samples a Cortázar reflection of loneliness which frames very well what the pandemic was for the artist.

This EP is composed of 2 tracks and a remix made by Gala. It has an eclectic sound: on both tracks, we can hear a journey through techno, acid, and electro sounds with trippy synths and dark vocals. In Isolation, we also find in its descent ethnic sounds from Ancient Egypt. Inspired by Hathor and intergalactic life.

The present EP is the first work of Zaratustra toward more housy and funky atmospheres, with two tracks that share a vintage and joyful vibe. 

« Down the Rabbit Hole » evokes a scene from « Alice in Wonderland ». In this fast house tune, you could picture Alice running after the White Rabbit in a sort of comic-book background. It has many different elements that don’t stop surprising throughout the track: piano solos, acid, laser dives and childish flute melodies; all blending in a catchy rythm thanks to the punchy drums and bassline. 

« On the Run » is a playful and merry indie dance song that evokes a reckless ride on a sunny Californian highway. Drawing inspiration from 80s music, with rock-like vocals, the track contains a variety of old-school synths, as well as hopping acid lines.

The EP consists of three original tracks and a remix by Argentinian producer Sofia Duz. "Bright Horizon" sets the tone for the EP with its driving drums and energetic bassline. "Neon Body" takes things up a notch with its various arpeggiators and catchy Italo disco-inspired hooks. "Voyager" is a faster-paced track that features subtle synthesizer melodies that will surely have listeners moving to the beat.
Finishes the EP Sofia Duz's remix of "Bright Horizon". Sofia created atmospheric and dynamic remix that capture the essence of the original track while putting her own spin on it.

This EP is super emotional, it's been saved and cooking for over 2 years. It's a somewhat experimental EP, it combines different styles like acid, house and disco. The ep has three house tracks 'One last time' and 'Speechless' created with a great selection of melodies, percussion, vocals and acid sounds, they seek to transmit an atmospheric energy as if you were on a trip. And a third track 'I'm going' with hints of garage house. All this adding up an excellent remix by the hand of Hernán Cerbello.

We close the year with this EP by the heads and minds of the label that showcases the versatility and creativity of electronic music. The strongest common point of connection between side a and side b is the absence of vocals that allow the music to speak for itself. While Imanol created two atmospheric tracks transporting the listener into a transcendental journey filled with ethereal melodies and hypnotic rhythms creating an introspective sound, Panko, on the other hand, materialized two tracks that catapulted the listener into latin rhythms and frenetic electronic elements and captured the essence of our fast-paced modern times, reflecting the accelerated trend in which we live through. The EP's flow is carefully crafted to keep the listener captivated from start to finish. From the spiritual ambiance of Imanol's tracks to the exhilarating energy of Panko's compositions. While Imanol invites us to embark on a mystical journey, Panko immerses us in an exhilarating panorama of the world. The juxtaposition creates a dynamic listening experience, demonstrating the vast range of emotions and moods electronic music can evoke.

Imanol is always looking for the groove, he’s a digger and loves to find lost songs. In 2018 he mounted his own label U’re Guay Records publishing dozens of emerging artists from around the world opening doors to constantly continue releasing his music for various labels such as Golden Soul Records (GER), Electric Music Foundation (USA), About Disco (BR), Muzic X Press (UY), This is not (IT), Dark mirror (RU), LW Recordings (UK), Jade (FR), Kyma Komplex (MX) among others. His music has been selected by DJs of the size of Folamour, Jacques Renault, Freddy Fresh, MCDE, Rahaan, Javi Frías, James Rod, among others. After a decade of musicing any encounter, the rhythm of presentations has become constant in clubs and parties in Uruguay emerging new opportunities in several countries around the globe.

Our next release brings together GIO, a Brazilian DJ and music producer based in Berlin and SUB-P, an Argentinian producer based in Brazil who's deeply passionate about our dance floors.

“Ladeira” explores the construction of hypnotic and percussive grooves in a Brazilian soundscape, referencing everything from the striking percussive axé of the trios elétricos in Espírito Santo to the pulsating beats of tribal house. With two tracks accompanied by remixes by Latin producers Feasting and Panko, the EP creates an atmosphere that highlights the power of music to alter the states of consciousness of those who surrender to the rhythm.

The Montevidean outlet finished last year with “All Remixes Vol. 1”, a bold 25-track compilation featuring some of the hottest Latino acts allied with spot-on contributions from across the pond; and now, it kicks off 2025 with another thrilling collection of gems: The 13-cut VA “PERCS” comes packed with solid works from Alírio & Tuxe, Anastasia Zems, CABE, DJ Karen, Ella De Vuono & Etcetera, Encanto, Franco Galán & Zoras, Glo My Feat. Vital, Panko Feat. Rumi De Baires, Praqqa, Tinitus, Whitney Weiss, and Imanol. Premiered here, the latter’s contribution. 

With appearances on Golden Soul, Kyma Komplex, About Disco, and his very own U’re Guay, master Imanol successfully flirts with many of his main influences in order to bring his vision of dance floor music to life. Expect an eclectic and colourful output filled with Disco, Funk, Indie, House, Acid, Techno, and even Trance references.

For his contribution to “PERCS”, Imanol invites us for a cosmic trip through his pop culture influences. Using fragments from the famous “Where No Man Has Gone Before” speech of the original 1966-1969 Star Trek science fiction television series, Imanol started working on a way to translate such influences into music, and the result is a frenzied theme brimming with euphoria and nostalgia, starring robust Acid and Electro displays.
