BLIM aka Gervase E. Cooke is a classically trained musician and was at the forefront of the early Nu Skool Breaks scene back in the early 2000's with his unique style that fitted well with music from that day. He had quite a few releases on Rennie Pilgrem's label TCR along with other artists such as Chris Carter, General Midi, Elite Force and JDS to name a few. This mix was recorded LIVE in the studios of Tilos Radio in Budapest, Hungary back in 2003.

ASIP - The isolated 1000

Your thoughts pause as your attention draws to this moment. You begin to wonder... 'where am I, what was I doing?'.

A sense of frustration passes as a wave of tranquillity washes over you. Riding this feeling, you begin to drift into a state of intense thought. Places, faces and emotions surround you, passing by at the speed of light. It's as if your entire existence was inhaled by the vacuum of your focus. There is now little but a presence of darkness, yet somehow you feel at peace.

Suddenly, your mind blossoms like a flower and a rush of energy passes through you. It pulsates your very being, at a rate that feels so right, so content. Messages sing themselves into your imagination painting pictures of beauty. You're surrounded by lifeforms that creep closer with playfulness. You descend deeper, in awe of all that is before you.

The thought arises, is this real? And suddenly, all of what you have just experienced begins to float just out of reach. A snapshot of this very instance is stored in your conscience forever. It is this moment that you will ponder for the rest of your waking life.

Groov Mekanik aims to cease these moments and store them as vibrational data that evoke wonder. Breathe deep, move fast and enjoy the ride.
