So the other day I was listening to my 90s and early 2000s Myspace R&B playlist, and I was feelin' a little nostalgic. For some reason, I had remembered that the Cheetah Girls (an early 200s Disney Channel Original Movie about a pretend grassroots female pop group) had some really dope memes a few years back. And I was like, you know what, we need some Cheetah Girls Future Funk. 😂

I played around with this R&B sample I had, but I didn't get very far with it. And around the same time, I got HELLA into Pink Pantheress . Like, I think I had her stuff on non-stop for like a good month and a half while I would play Halo Infinite. Anyways, whenever I'd work on this Cheetah Girls inspired song, it just sloooowwwlllyyy started becoming this Future Funk, Cheetah Girls inspired, Pink Pantheress influenced, R&B dance banger???

I don't even really know if this song is Future Funk, or Vaporwave anymore. But, either way, this song puts a smile on my face, and it get's me moving! And I hope it does for you too!

This album will be my last album before an indefinite hiatus. I've made a lot of music over the years, and I don't regret releasing a single song (okay maybe one or two here or there). If there's anything that I want people to take from my albums, my entire work over these past 5 or so years, it's to try something. 

Anything. Make music, draw stuff, film things. Be messy about it, hold things together with tape, use only what you have lying around, do it all yourself, try it out!

You never know what might happen. Maybe one day you'll be laying on the floor, looking up at the ceiling wanting to quit making music, only to release the album that finally gets through to people the way you always wanted it to. Maybe you'll finally get your wish of getting just one person to listen to your music, a million times over. And even if it never happens, at least you had fun on the way, right?

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR A WONDERFUL 5 YEARS, I WILL NEVER FORGET IT!
