"Owl In the Box" is inspired by the life of a magical Owl, a metaphor for Fowlowl's creative process and musical journey. Each track is designed to evoke the marvel and surprise that comes with discovering new musical elements, much like peering into a box to find an unexpected treasure. Inspired by his journey to Japan, VARANOÏD embarks on creating an EP that reflects the essence of the discoveries and experiences he had there. Through three unique tracks, he explores the deep contrasts between tradition and technology, with a nod to his night ascent of Mount Fuji. This EP offers a powerful, hybrid mix, blending a psytrance foundation with tech/kno influences—a style thats becoming his signature. Each track is wrapped in meticulous storytelling, a reflection of his respect for Japan, and a tribute to the Land of the Rising Sun.
