With this mix I have really tried to express full vulnerability. Often, there is an aching pressure to make music or curate mixes with the underlying thought of ‘I want this to be well received’ - when really, what's most important, is that the music touches your own soul in an authentic way. Razmik Makhsudyan, born in Yerevan, began exploring techno in 2010. After honing his skills as a DJ, he took his first steps as a producer and, in 2016, launched his live alias, Tøtal, showcasing the heavier, darker side of techno. In 2017, he founded his own label, Death Bell Records, and by 2019, he brought his sound to Boiler Room Yerevan, sharing his music with a wider audience.

At 22, Aleeki is making his mark on the Portuguese electronic scene. Drawn to hypnotic techno, he creates immersive sets that captivate listeners. He has played at venues like Nav, Musicbox, and Ministerium Club, and with his first release on Waxxel’s label, he’s showcasing his talent and passion. Over the past year, Aleeki has refined his raw yet hypnotic style, shaping a unique sound that balances deep atmospheres with powerful beats.

Kinesin is a motor protein that plays a crucial role in the transport of materials within cells. Essentially, Kinesin acts like a "molecular motor," walking along microtubules with incredible precision. It moves in a coordinated pattern, using its two "heads" to alternate in a manner similar to a dance step, where one head attaches to the microtubule while the other detaches, allowing Kinesin to advance efficiently. Powered by ATP, the molecule that stores and releases energy in the body, Kinesin transforms this chemical energy into mechanical movement, creating a continuous process of flow and transport, essential for cellular life.
Just as Kinesin transforms energy efficiently and continuously, the layers of percussion and basslines flow incessantly, keeping us immersed in a state of movement, energy, and vibration.
