DJ & Producer of groovy, smoothy, funky, chunky psychedelic music.

Groovy Smoothy crafts a sound that is as precise as it is playful, a deep dive into psychedelic, techno-driven rhythms full of hypnotic energy and vibrant textures. Rooted in Zenonesque, Dark Progressive, and Psy Tech, his music bridges the dancefloor and the subconscious.

His musical path began at the age of four behind his grandmother’s piano. Later came drums, guitar, and live performances as a singer-songwriter and band member. He started DJing in 2010, and a life-changing experience at a festival in the Australian outback in 2014 led him to psychedelic electronic music and the culture surrounding it.

Back in Germany, his homebase in Darmstadt/Frankfurt, he began playing in clubs, events, and festivals from 2016 on. In 2021, he started producing his own music fusing psychedelic aesthetics with solid techno foundations heavily influenced by the sounds and rhythms he witnessed in Australia.

His sound can be described as a rich musical smoothie: groovy, deep, dark and light, structured yet organic. Each set and track is a journey, both physical and mental, through layered rhythms, modular textures, and subtle sonic storytelling. Somewhere between minimalistic and complex.

Energy travelling through sound spreading deep down into consciousness.
