Astrid must train Enzo like never before. He knows the boy is capable of intense spells, but he is still doubtful he would learn them in time. It took Astrid years to learn how to stun and counter, to block and manipulate. Astrid starts slowly, but Enzo masters each lesson at a rate he has never seen by any wizard. Enzo has become a force the likes of which many would not be able to stop. All this attention though, brought notice to the King himself. Such a young man, he thought, only 18, they must be kidding.

Spells

I really wanted to branch out some more, and go out of my comfort zone (stylistically) with this sort of Egyptian scale. It was super fun developing the runs and all of the basslines. I want to thank @pianolord for feedback and for being the huge inspiration for the second half of this song, I really tried to mimic his style, but of course add my own flair. I think this turned out to be one of my best, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

The Psychology Of A Mastermind

As you might have noticed, I've recently started posting my flat.io pieces here on SoundCloud - I figured it wouldn't hurt to start going on here too. So... yeah. Here's my new flat piece (which isn't published on flat yet, so you get epic early access). Personally I'd say it's not my favorite out of all the pieces I've made, but it turned out okay I guess.

Laments Of A Broken Soul

Dreaming in a Time of Fear

So I wanted to write a fast paced, energetic kind of piece. And about 40 measures in I was like "huh... the last couple of measures I wrote sounds reeeeeeeeeeeeally similar to ANiMA by XI.." So I decided to lean into that more, deleted the entire thing and started over with XI in mind. Super fast bpm, lots and lots of 16th notes, and a bunch of key changes to make it spicy. It's not the longest piece I've written, but I hope you enjoy nontheless.
