Nene H has made a name for herself with her signature boundary-pushing sound, always exploring different paths on which techno can lead her, be it in productions, live sets or DJ mixes. Her most recent works include the 2020 EP “Standard Deviation” in collaboration with the artist Poly Chain, and a terrific release in March of this year, the EP “Beast” on the French label Possession, featuring the remixes of artists VTSS and Hadone. 
 
It is her “in-your-face” spirit, always taking risks to project her music to the next level, that Nene H has brought today in our 12th podcast episode. The occasion for us to get to know more about her artistic and personal peregrinations.

Expect candid dance floor abandon with a touch of sultry madness while Crypto is zoning out in the booth, putting her heart right in front of you, out on that floor. Recent and upcoming highlights include shows at Berghain/Panorama Bar, Tresor, Ohm and RSO in Berlin as well as Macadam in Nantes and POING in Rotterdam. Her sets have become some of our favorite as of late and we are ecstatic to host this spectacular mix from her today.

The second installment of our 1st birthday celebration sees Grounded number 29 welcome another talented Irish techno producer in Dean Myler. Hailing from Waterford Myler is now a DSNT regular and has gone from strength to strength in the past 2 years with a series of vinyl releases beginning on Fifth Wall and following up with another EP on Penny Royal as well as a tracks on both No Logo and MINDCUT releases with more expected in the not too distant future. The mix itself features some unreleased material and was inspired by a recent trip to Amsterdam with the Buekplaten crew and friends!

Not many DJs can claim to experience as meteoric, grassroots ascent as SPFDJ. Having established a remarkable energy, style and attitude on the underground techno circuits of both London and Berlin, she is known for inspiring debauchery and sweat-soaked hedonism on an international scale. Typically operating at a blisteringly high-tempo, an SPFDJ trip takes no prisoners in it’s exploration of strains of techno, acid, EBM, hardcore and trance. It’s a style that Ben UFO called “utterly ruthless”, and one that more and more clubbers are submitting to; a gleefully chaotic two-fingers to dance music’s self-serious establishment.
