This heavy dance-floor weapon achieved some big support coming from techno royalties such as Amelie Lens, Regal, and many more.

Grounded Podcast number 36 is proud to add another young Irish DJ/Producer to the bill in the form of Casper Hastings. DJing at events across Ireland which has including supporting the likes of Happa whilst also producing tracks for the past few years Casper has drawn influences from Al Toureettes, Jeff Mills, Christian Wunch, Go Hiyama as well as taking in aspects of interests from a broad range of genres. Going from stride to stride his most recent release came on the B55 Records 'Shape Series' V/A compilation alongside a handful of previously featured Grounded artists with a tops off distorted acid burner of a track titled 'Machina'. Previous to this he also released on the hugely impressive TXTRL Label's 'Thick as Thieves' V/A as well as releases on Rafarta and Dred Collective. With plenty more releases to come, he has been kind enough to give us a track titled 'Rejection Cell' which will be available for free download shortly...

GRND 36: Casper Hastings

I was lucky enough to be able to play at Shine a good few times over the past few years, so I thought it would only be right to get a mix recorded for their 20th birthday celebrations! 

Out of those 20 years, I reckon I've spent well over half of them going to Shine first when it was weekly, then when it was monthly....and all of the tracks in this mix have played a big part!

Probably could have done at least another two hours with all the tracks I wanted to play, but you'll have to make do with 2hrs 30mins for now....

Recorded all in one take with all my old vinyl, so hopefully it's not too messy!

Today we want to introduce you to Yanis B. aka YÅ. Yanis is 26 years old and comes from the french capital, paris. He started djing 6 years ago, however he's been producing for about 3 years only. 
The best party he played at yet was at a warehouse in paris called OFF. Yanis got his interest in electronic music from his youth, where he already listened to hardstyle and hardcore. 

He founded Mainmise Records in 2017. He also joined the Rearguard-Crew in Clermont Ferrand the same year.

Flog the Bog will be in association with Advanced Electronic Music who have set up groups on Soundcloud. What is this prize we speak of?, well, producers and bands/singers/musicians will have they're tracks fully mastered and featured on the upcoming Flog the Bog music compilation to be released in April 2014 on Advanced Electronic Records as well as having the chance to perform on the Flog the Bog main stage at the upcoming festival planned for Easter 2014. Successful DJ's will have sets recorded also "live" on main stage at the festival, mastered with crowd sound included and also featured as part 1 of a mix series on the Flog the Bog compilation!. Successful artists will be commissioned to create work for the " The Flog in the Bog" compilation series as well as creating the artwork that will shape the imagery of the festival. All winners will also receive 5 free tickets for they're friends, a bottle of Champagne or Whiskey (whatever your tipple may be) as well as free passes for themselves and band members (where applicable) to roam untouched at the festival with untold goodies also lined up. 
So get recording, mixing, singing, painting and whatever it is you do best and be part of the Flog the Bog festival community.
