Jonas Kopp has always been an influential figure to EarToGround and was one of the main inspirations behind the creation of the label. Since his remix on ETG002 it was only a matter of time before his own full release was to come about. 

Few would dispute him as being one of the most prominent and exciting figures to emerge from Argentina in recent years. An accomplished producer, in-demand remixer and versatile performer, he has fast transitioned from Buenos Aires’ best-kept secret to one of contemporary house and techno’s leading lights. 

The tracks created cover his full dynamic range old, new and future while demonstrating his skill at making you want to dance. 

Vinyl lands May 11th with full sleeve artwork on marbled black and white wax.

Longtime Berghain resident, Figure Music founder and Berlin techno stalwart Len Faki is known both for his discerning, impeccable taste, so when we heard that he had agreed to remix French artist DNGLS for the enigmatic Anemone Music label, we were understandably enthused.

What Len ended up turning in, however, was much more than simply a remix, but, as the label calls it a “whole new realm of possibilities” – three different versions of DNGLS‘ “Hooly” – and we’ve got an exclusive listen below.

“When I heard the track first time, I instantly loved this special melody a lot,” Len tells us. “It was a pleasure to work on it, also because it is a little different than my other productions and a great experience to work in this direction. In the end, this is how the three different versions were formed, mirroring three different club moments. The first one is more like an energetic moment on the floor, while the ‘Tool’ is clubbier, more subtle, focused on the late night club moments. The ‘Beatless’ version is to listen to outside the club, or starting/ending the night.”

A year on from 'Fernweh', Laux is releasing two split remix EPs that give the album a complete re-imagining. There are edits from the likes of Steve Rachmad, Ray Kajioka and one Marcel Dettmann.

Dettmann is arguably one of the finest techno DJs on the planet and if he's not rinsing the Berghain sound-system, he's touring non-stop and running things at his stellar MDR imprint. 

For his edit he's served up a fierce, menacing and calculated track, one that uses monstrous kicks, demonic synths and driving hi-hats.

This is number three in our limited edition Pattern Series, signed as always by label owner Oscar Mulero.
Scientific techno crafted with the utmost precision, working the stereo field and the frequency range on behalf of a sonic experience far beyond simple floor action.
"Lights" is the first track: sonar-like bleeps, groovy percussive elements, round kicks and an hypnotic arrangement with subtle changes.
"Arcade" is more rhythm-fuelled, based around drum elements that weave in and out of the structure, moving from left to right. A construction tool.
The second track on the B side is "Echoes", which has a more mental approach. A slow build-up starting from filtered beats, delayed digital drums, assorted percussion layers and a lot of FX workout on another complex mixing tool.
